I used to go through earbuds every few months until I got V-Moda, they have kevlar reinforced cable and a 45 degree plug which greatly reduces stress on the wire. I had my last pair for about 3 years until the wire finally failed at the earbud end a few months ago and I got the newer ones for 50% off due to the "Immortal Life" program which gives you a lifetime 50% discount if they stop working(on top of the 2 year warranty)

I can't stand earbuds. They're uncomfortable to wear and break at the drop of a hat. Headphones are one of the few things I don't mind spending money on. I've got a nice pair of Sennheiser headphones that have lasted me over two years now. They're super comfortable to wear and produce amazing sound quality. Definitely worth the money I spent.

Dunno. I tend to replace them before they wear out on me. Haha.

The last 2 pair I had were broken by someone at school other than that I had them for at least 6 months probably longer if nobody broke them. The current 2 pair I have were given to me by friends.

About 3-4 months. I've been having the same earbuds since 2016 began. The right side of my earbuds doesn't work though.

Beats are, at best, average quality headphones. They are ridiculously overpriced because they have excellent marketing. The best thing about them is that they are stylish. If you are going to spend that much on headphones, do a little research and you can come out with a much nicer product.

Brands like Bose, Audio-Technica or Sennheiser actually cater to people who can appreciate good audio. Beats rely on impressionable knee-jerk consumers. I've listened to Beats, and my old $30 Sennheisers blow them out of the water.

If you exercise, low end ones only last about a month. Highend ones last about 3 months

I've had the current earpads for the last 2 years if I'm not mistaken. It's starting to show symptoms of shit going wrong, for that reason I've ordered yet another Earphone model.
