Episode 1

Haru met Ren somewhere in the Canadian Rockies one summer, and Ren is one wild rascal, while Haru's mother is Miss Haruko to him. Ren was such a brat back then, but thanks to Haru's affection, he's opening up. Haru sure does love dogs, and the family owns a lot of them. And then Ren gets stranded on the river on a rainy day over a lunch he made that washed down the river with Haru coming to the rescue. That summer vacation trip sure did change the two in a big way as Ren has decided to move in. But then shit happens there at the end when an accident happens.

That was a great way to start this show. It's pretty funny, but more importantly it establishes the relationship between Haru and Ren to set the stage for the bromance. Definitely much better than I was expecting seeing that it's not my kind of show, but sadly it's only ten episodes long.

Really nice show loyal to the Manga and the animation style is really spot on. All characters very likeable and good interaction looking forward to more of Haru and Ren

Episode 1: Forest Green

You know it wasn't that bad as people have been perceiving it. I don't really see it as a pedophile type of thing but more of a big brother type of affection trying to care for a younger sibling.

Still that's not to say that I did feel some tendencies towards that but I highly doubt it's going to go down that way. Haru just wants to protect Ren and teach him life.

The animation was flawless. Everything looked pretty from the mountains to the interior design of the house and to the character designs. It was just so pretty, wouldn't mind to have the whole season up there.

But it sure did take a turn for the worse at the end. Was not expecting that twist. I'll stick through this.

Now I remember

I followed the manga with the seiyuu drama CD of this title a while back.

Even the manga didnt feel like a BL manga to me. Its more of a big brother little brother affection. I thought it was cute but I didnt follow it past this episode.

Also that house's architecture reminded me of Frank Loyd Wright . I grew up looking at my fathers architecture books of the said architect and his works are my dream home. Still is my dream home

Kissing your newly adopted little bother on the lips is normal? Must be a Canadian thing.

Jokes aside, that got rather dark awfully quick. What happened at the end?

Kinda surprised by the lack of torches and pitchforks in this thread.

The show itself wasn't half bad, not really sure where they're going to go with it.

It kind of looked like everybody died, perhaps in a car accident.

Meh. Kind of slow and draggy, but not bad. I'll give it another episode or two to not bore me.

Was definitely surprised by how the episode ended.

Haru was the only one who could get close to and "tame" his new, wild brother Ren. His brother seems to have had a rough life. I really enjoyed this one. Got a little dark at the end though. Can't wait for the next episode.

Why does everybody have to die? Why does there have to be age complications in Boys Love? Why can't gay people have nice things?
