No offence but this isn't /b/ or /a/. Stop trying to greentext and sticking implying on stuff. It makes you look like you're trying super hard to be a /b/tard and not even people on /b/ use that stale shit.

All due respect, don't try to be something you're not...

Well I'm definitely not having kids, but it would honestly depend on the temperament of my child. I have to be honest, I think keeping things away from kids isn't really the greatest idea. It's better to show them and explain what's going on, than hide it and shelter them and lie to them by omission. Unlike a lot of adults, I still remember what it was like to be a child. I think Ghibli is a good choice. I think anything with some action, like DBZ or Naruto or anything with Mechs and others like this might be a good choice. If the child was very intelligent and quiet, I might pick something else, like Read or Die?

Not ever going to have kids but if I did I'd probably have to start them out on Sound of the Sky or Shakugan No Shana.

They aren't toddlers, but the first show my kids (around 6 and 10 at the time) watched was Excel Saga. They thought it was hilarious. From there we watched Tenchi Muyo, Chi's Sweet Home (which they both loved, especially my youngest) and their favourite, Fairy Tail.

Ah! Some of these answers! lol.

I had mine watch
Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple.

My children were in martial arts so not a big deal, and Kenichi is not just about fighting, but standing up for what is right, helping those in need...etc...that I can't say before I have to do a spoiler alert...

I'd probably start them off with some Studio Ghibli films such as Ponyo or My Neighbor Totoro. Then I may move onto a series like Squid Girl.

I remember watching totoro when I was extremely young. It really confused me, even now I can only recall the cat bus scene

it was a less scarier than alice in wonderland though.
