Really nice details/animation during battle scenes was impressed with helicopters at the beginning. This anime always has more questions than answers but I guess to be expected with 26 episodes.

After some research, I found out that the writer who is working on this, Ryo Hikagi, also did Another. Another was pretty good, so I am looking forward to this series more and more. Netflix needs to hurry up with it!

Kuromukuro EP 6 / "Dancing on the Bank of the River Jinzu"

Good Anmation / Action the cast scipt lines were kinda flat. As far as reveals go ir's a 2 cour so pkenty of time.

Kennosuke / Yukina withe Cube and Gaus 1 / 2 fight the Yellow Claw and 2 Dullhan Mechs. At first it's just the Cube vs all but then Gaus 1 / 2 despose of the Dukkahans.

2 Students ( 1 Akagi ) not only are illegally streaming the battle but they might have been too close.

Ken finally beats the Claw but a human from Ken's time comes out an says you betraued us, He the sets off a nuke.

Railguns are coming quite popular in anime

Another close CQC battle

I agree there are quiet a good blend of some CG and classic animation in some scenes.

There are indeed more questions now and I am really curious how the writer will make things work out .
I really cant wait to see the next episode with that self destruction .

Episode 7

This was so far the weakest episode imo. The relationship between Yukina and Ouma still feels strange while Yukina's relationship with her mother got more tense.

The whole revenge idea coming from Ouma isn't something I find too appealing yet. I think the show will eventually reveal much more about him. Lol, I find the pool scene rather amusing mostly because of Ouma.

Really wonder what their true agenda is:

So the alien demons are all in human form I even noticed a female in one of the chairs. My favorite scene was in the Kitchen Yukina making dinner with her mom lasted maybe 3 minutes but looked delicious the rest of the episode to many questions with no answers. I keep thinking Yukina father might be in one of those chairs but 2 classmates are missing more to come.

I have nothing against Yukina not wanting to pilot the artifact. At the end of the day, she's still a child and didn't sign up for killing people, or at least contributing towards their deaths. But I sure as hell do take issue with her essentially saying Ken was responsible for his Princess' death, and that she wishes her presumably dead father wasn't her dad. And she very much deserved that slap at the end. I'd say it was very mother-like for her mother to slap her for saying that. She said that they didn't know what she had to go through, but I think the reverse is very much true, as she only seems to care about her own "suffering". I put that in quotation marks because I imagine her father presumably dying or being kidnapped, and her mother having to cope with it, are a lot harder to deal with than stupid kids calling you a liar...

I hope she gets over her whiny, entitled phase quickly. I get it, but she was hardly a highly likable character to begin with...

I can see where you're coming from, but there are a couple of reasons that might justify her character.

Story-wise, it seems she's just a normal girl with some past issues and that the plot is taking its time to give her development and a sense of purpose, despite her issues with her mother and father.

Realistically, I think there is a communication issue between mother and child on both ends. Both have been through something rough, yet, they both do not know how to exactly handle and clearly express it. This can lead to some complicated drama and miscommunication.

I believe the story is trying to put an emphasis on those and could potentially lead to some good development later on. We are 7 episodes in what will be a 26-episode series, so there is obviously more story to tell.

Also, I could be diving deeper than what is actually going on, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. Personally, I wouldn't have slapped her, but I would have exploded a little inside and explain why of what she said is wrong. You know, some communication to soothe things.

Frankly, I agree with about everything you say, except maybe the not piloting issue. That would be ok, not great but ok, if there were other people to take her place, to feel entitled to go 'someone else save me and everyone else, so I don't have to'. But refusing just because she don't like the idea of death and killing, full knowing no one can take her place and so very likely people will die as a result, is whiney, entitled, not to mention, extremely childish.

This girl is 17, but to me she seems to act like a 13-14 yr. old. Yeah her mother's not the best, and they don't communicate, but still. Refusing to face reality, and with a definite need to get over herself and the gigantic chip on her shoulder. After 7 ep. I'm despairing of improvement.

Maybe this will be a 'if only we hadn't gotten off on the wrong foot it would have been peace and rainbows with the aliens' sort of anime, and she's going to be the one to prove they're not demons and no one has to die. *SOB* Please, I hope NOT.

My views on parents disciplining their kids by hitting them fluctuates constantly. On this occasion, I would consider it pretty reasonable when her daughter said something unquestionably quite atrocious.

I understand her mother is a woman who places high importance in her job, and as a result may neglect her kids on some level, but from what we've seen of her, I have trouble finding much else to fault her on... besides letting her daughter operate the mecha. But she was the only one who could help, after all, so... Yes, they've both been through a lot, but to me I can only really find fault with Yukina, as she just seems too selfish and entitled, considering the situation, and needs to learn how to better communicate. Or rather, to understand where everyone else is coming from.

I don't doubt she'll develop better over the coming episodes, but she could have gone about all of this in a much less angsty way, without coming across as, quite honestly, a bitch.

Yeah... I didn't particularly like her turning away from piloting the artifact, either, but I could at least sympathise on some level. She was just a high school girl a short while ago, and now she's being pushed into a world of killing and death. It's understandable she'd object, even if she is the only one who could pilot the machine with Ken. Annoying and probably a little selfish, but understandable.

I do think she'll improve. Hopefully she will before people start dying because she doesn't want to be involved, even though she is, no matter what she says. It's just that I don't think they needed to make her this whiny. It's barely tolerable for an episode. Two would be pushing it.

And while I'm sure she won't, if she does manage to resolve all this conflict with the power of friendship I might just have a few choice words for the writer.

Maybe that's part of the point with her character and development. Maybe she will learn to understand everyone else and communicate more. Well, rather, I hope she does.

Kuromukuro EP 7 / "The Daybreak Disappearance"

There were enough good points in this episode without the Yukina debate which is important no matter how you feeI .

I am not going to debate my view or others as the 6 /8 / page rant /repeat rant etc that was and still going for Re Zero

A lot more somber episode / the animation is just so crisp

Some more reveals about the invaders

Akagi and Kayahara are missing Yulina gets ?? Akagi's dad takes care of Sophie frame
Sophie got it right / you are going to die if the things keep going.
Sophie to Yukina do you want to die a fighter or die cowardI gets

Some are calling her Shinji from Evagelion.

I get her dislike the killing of humans her dad research getting her called names. Her classmates missing.

But it is do or die.

Yukina and her mom making Gyoza but it turned ugly.

Kennosuke explains the after math

Yukina has fight with mom and leaves

Somewhat slow but completely predicted not having the fortitude to eliminate the annoying characters. Yukina's father's return or someone who murdered him and stole his watch, wait until next week to find out

Episode 8

Ugh, this was my least favorite episode so far. We got Yukina in the middle of nowhere while others like Ouma and her own mother desperately trying to find her. So far, there's not much about her that I find likable.

What I am curious is to know exactly who saved her at the end...
