Do right and wrong truly exist, or is EVERYTHING a matter of one's personal opinion?

In all honesty I have no idea but maybe it's a personal opinion?

That's okay. I wish I was smart enough to answer some of the comments on this thread though.

In this case, the question can't be answered without understanding what words are. A person needs to understand what is being communicated through the words "right" and "wrong" and then make a judgment based on that. Do you agree?

Ahah, but hey, that's just my view on things. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I believe society has made us think murder and rape is wrong but i believe that is a good thing and is only the natural progression of individual opinions becoming the mass opinion.

Do i need mental health for thinking like that?

If reality exists, there exists right and wrong answers. 2+2=4. That isn't subject to debate due to its constraints.

In the case of opinions, open ended questions, and subjective explanations--no. There are more probabilistic, supported, or substantiated opinions though. One argument will be more convincing or 'more right' based upon how supported and reasoned it is.

No, no you don't. I'm talking more along the lines of the types of people who try to justify murder/rape because "society makes us think it's wrong". Those types of people who believe there's nothing wrong with it and think rape/murder should be legal. [although I see this more with rape tbh.]

Between this and the "Why should I be polite?" thread, it sounds like you're asking us for validations about Is It Okay To Be a Sociopath? until you get the answer you want, like a little kid who hopes to go the circus if he asks enough.

Just out of curiosity, what was the mental diagnosis, if it's not being too personal?
