Just an "FYI" since Crunchyroll uses Flash currently. I believe Google's Chrome browser will update automatically, but others might not (Firefox probably does). Anyway... check to make sure your Flash is up to date or punch it through manually.

Adobe Systems Inc (ADBE.O) issued an emergency update on Thursday to its widely used Flash software for Internet browsers after researchers discovered a security flaw that was being exploited to deliver ransomware to Windows PCs.

The software maker urged the more than 1 billion users of Flash on Windows, Mac, Chrome and Linux computers to update the product as quickly as possible after security researchers said the bug was being exploited in "drive-by" attacks that infect computers with ransomware when tainted websites are visited.

Check your version of Flash here:

Firefox doesn't auto update flash. It keeps flash seperated from its code because its such an unstable piece of shit.

Also FUCK YOU FLASH YOUR DESTROYING THE INTERNET!!! Websites that use flash are inferior to those that don't.

Thanks for the warning. I'd suggest you all use a flash blocker to prevent such things.

Thanks for the heads up. I just updated yesterday but will double check to make sure. Viruses, Trojan, etc are just nasty business. It's a shame that there are so many people out there who will just take from others. If they'd just dedicate a small fraction of that time to actually doing something positive, like working then they wouldn't have to.

Well sometimes its because they don't CARE and want to see if any of the seeds "works" and why they don't as to improve their uses as its to make themselfs more skillfull until they can do more and maybe something large scale (its like people making trashy games or simple ones just to improve themselfs and see what others might find bad or good about it etc.)

Its a business, maintenance costs money, flash is a fucking disaster, and HTML 5 killed the need to use flash for video/audio. Flash is on its way out and even adobe knows it. They have basically abandoned it for new technology, that hopefully isn't as bad as flash. The problem is some people haven't replaced it with its replacements.

Windows 10: As of currently, mine has already been patched in. I did not need to update it on my own and my version is currently the most recent one.

If mine did it, should be the same for all Windows 10 unless you fucked your computer up.

Thanks for the info. I didn't get any update messages about security for Adobe Flash when I turned on my computer today but I updated it just in case (I'm still using Windows 7 Home Premium). Maybe it's a good thing that I haven't updated my computer to Windows 10 yet. Luckily the only site I've played any video stuff on so far today has been here on Crunchyroll.

Firefox addons have the option to be automatically updated... apparently flash was updated yesterday for me. Gee, when will the html5 video closed captioning be good enough for subtitles?
