Let me know if a thread like this one exist or not.
Thanks a bunches.

Is a nice guy shy when it comes to love? What is it about nice guys that always make girls run away? Why are nice guys placed in the friendzone? Are you a nice guy and has it been hard for you to find love?

Enjoy!!!

Oh not nice guys again.

maybe those nice guys are not good looking and/or poor and/or boring

we are animals, and we look for partners that are powerful... that could be in terms of monetary or appearances or intelligence.

They're probably running away because anyone that self describes as a Nice Guy(tm) is likely kind of an entitled asshole. >.>

Nice guys know that they don't have a chance among girls who self-indulge their "woo-hoo!" post-teen dreams of getting the "bad boy" for a few thrills, until they find out....well, they find out. Hopefully not the hard way.

So we mostly just sit around, and wait to pick up the pieces afterwards. At least that way, they've been "broken in", and gotten all their unrealistic expectations of the world out of their system.

So a nice guy is actually an asshole to you?

Shyness doesn't come from being nice to people. It comes from being insecure, and/or inexperienced.

Nothing. Being genuinely nice to a person is usually an attractive trait for that person.

The friendzone doesn't exist. It is made up by people who feel entitled to a relationship with a person.

I don't consider myself to be a nice person. Although I don't consider there to be nice people in general when I really think about it. Just people who do things that some people might consider to be nice. People can kill babies and still open the door for another person. Although that is an extreme example.

There are a lot more "nice guys" out there than people seem to think. I doubt they're as love-shy as they're stereotyped to be.

So, in effect, it is a pejorative and has no real meaning, which leads me back to the original inquiry.

Specifically, I said self described. If someone makes a big point of always describing themselves as a Nice Guy(tm) chances are they are kind of an asshole and/or use the term resentfully. IE "I'm a nice guy why won't she go out with me?" or the prevalent myths you're invoking here of "Why don't girls like nice guys?".

Girls do like nice guys. They do not like guys that act nice in an attempt to get girls to go out with them. ;p

There is no such thing as a "friendzone"
If someone you like isn't sexually attracted to you, it's not really their fault. It's not something they or you can control, so don't stick around hoping for something that's not meant to be.

Also, a guy that feels the need to describe himself as nice sounds pretty fishy imo.
