Haha, this brings back memories.

I was in Wiesbaden and we had a massive stau (traffic jam). After all traffic stopped for 20 minutes, people just started getting out of their cars and just relaxing. Family and I sat down and ate some marzipan. Not a realllll picnic, but it was fun.

As for a real picnic... I did have one on top of the Alps. We took a cable car about... 7,500ft up or so I want to say? We found a nice ledge and set up a blanket and had some cold paninis. I believe I have pictures of this at my parents house. I gotta find them and upload them to my profile.

Yes I do it all the time. It can be as simple as meeting a friend or two at our local park where we sit and eat (fast food or home prepared). If the weather is good tomorrow after my weekend swim, that's what I'm doing for lunch. Then there's the times we have all day picnics. I take a tent for anyone who wants some quiet time. There's the badminton set with net to be put up. We take enough food for the entire day. This could be local or we take a trip to another city or even a beach. One of my favourite places to picnic is in Oxford.

My Great Aunt used to take my sister and I on what she called "snowbird picnics" during the first snowfall of the season. She would put together a small picnic and we would walk up the back hill to this grove of pines that was so thick not much snow made it to the ground. We would spread out a blanket and eat our picnic under the trees watching the snow come down.

I used to go on picnics a lot when I was young, but recently I haven't been on any. I'm getting quite bored with them, and I don't exactly enjoy dining outdoors. Not to mention, I'm just not into outdoor activities that much these days. I'm pretty much just there in order to be with friends and family more so than anything seeing that it's all about getting together talking, playing, and socializing more so than eating.

A few times with my ex-girlfriend, I think it's a nice and simple thing to do from time to time. We usually brought sandwiches or things that don't need to be heated before eating.

This is something we used to do with friends when I was a bit younger. It can be very nice when done properly. We learned several times that some items are just not picnic friendly haha. But there are some good memories. Maybe I need to take my kids on a picnic now that we have some warm weather

I have been to a couple of picnics. Sometimes with friends or family. One of the more memorable picnics was at a spot overlooking the Hudson River. It was very late afternoon, and the sun cast a golden hue on the grounds. The view was breathtaking:

Everyone brought different food. Mostly sandwiches, salads and cupcakes. For my part, I brought bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. After the picnic, we then attended a play. Actually we only had a picnic because we were waiting for the play, and it was too good an opportunity to pass up.

I once had a picnic date. That was quite magical. Mid afternoon, warm but with a slight breeze to keep it comfy. In order to avoid the sun, we set up the blanket under the shade of a big tree. We had salads, fruits and some tea.

Talking about picnics brings back great memories. I haven't taken part in a real picnic for years now. I should really remedy that.

Several times.

And most of the times I just remember that sun is too hot, wind is kinda nice and I hate insects. I really really hate insects.

Depends where you go to I bet
