Hi guys. We've probably all seen the series to be coming out this new season, however there are still some I'd like to highlight; ones I personally cannot wait to see.

[Feel free to add some series you are hoping for in the upcoming seasons by listing it's season, date, and a link to it]

planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume (unknown date, 2016)

MyAnimeList -

Info (source: Steam)
"It is thirty years after the failure of the Space Colonization Program. Humanity is nearly extinct. A perpetual and deadly Rain falls on the Earth. Men known as "Junkers" plunder goods and artifacts from the ruins of civilization. One such Junker sneaks alone into the most dangerous of all ruins—a "Sarcophagus City." In the center of this dead city, he discovers a pre-War planetarium. And as he enters he is greeted by Hoshino Yumemi, a companion robot. Without a single shred of doubt, she assumes he is the first customer she's had in 30 years. She attempts to show him the stars at once, but the planetarium projector is broken. Unable to make heads or tails of her conversation, he ends up agreeing to try and repair the projector..."

My thoughts:
If you've played through and read the Visual Novel as I have, then it's safe to say why this is exciting news. But for those that haven't, I will just say that the world this story is set in may seem at most times saddening, hopeless, and harsh, but there's also a lot of feeling here. One worth the wait, in my opinion.

Natsume Yuujinchou Go (Fall, 2016)

Info (source: MAL)
"While most fifteen-year-old boys, in one way or another, harbor secrets that are related to girls, Takashi Natsume has a peculiar and terrifying secret involving youkai: for as long as he can remember, he has been constantly chased by these spirits. Natsume soon discovers that his deceased grandmother Reiko had passed on to him the Yuujinchou, or "Book of Friends," which contains the names of the spirits whom she brought under her control. Now in Natsume's possession, the book gives Reiko's grandson this power as well, which is why these enraged beings now haunt him in hopes of somehow attaining their freedom.

Without parents and a loving home, and constantly being hunted by hostile, merciless youkai, Natsume is looking for solace—a place where he belongs. However, his only companion is a self-proclaimed bodyguard named Madara. Fondly referred to as Nyanko-sensei, Madara is a mysterious, pint-sized feline spirit who has his own reasons for sticking with the boy."

My thoughts:
Seeing that such an amazing series get a new season was like music to my ears. It is such a calming yet exciting show to watch.

Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito (10th of September, 2016)

Info (source: MAL)
"Chise Hatori has lived a life full of neglect and abuse, devoid of anything resembling love. Far from the warmth of family, she has had her share of troubles and pitfalls. Just when all hope seems lost, a fateful encounter awaits her. When a man with the head of a beast, wielding strange powers, obtains her through a slave auction, Chise's life will never be the same again.

The man is a "magus," a sorcerer of great power, who decides to free Chise from the bonds of captivity. The magus then makes a bold statement: Chise will become his apprentice—and his bride!"

My thoughts:
I started the manga adaption for this show not that long ago, but I was quickly drawn in further by the story, creativity, and deep character development that makes this show brilliant. The story may take many dark turns, but all in all, it is a story that also shows a lot of emotion and care between the character.

These are my top three shows I am looking forward to at the end of 2016. Please feel free to add any other shows you are excited to see coming in the following seasons.
