I got curious to see if some people who play Sims don't cheat. I have literally never played a single family without cheating. I cheat for money the moment I enter the game so I can move to a nice house, I cheat so that I can change their moods and needs whenever I want, I cheat so I can change a character's looks whenever I want and more! I honestly can't imagine playing sims without cheating.

So, I'm curious! Do others cheat all the time as well? What do you normally use cheats for? How does the game go if you don't cheat at all? Tell me about it!

No, I prefer not to cheat. The last time I played Sims, I focused on trying to impregnating the entire female population without marrying anyone with a writer Sim. That's more satisfying without cheating.

In addition to always cheating for the money, in Sims 2 I used the boolprop cheat so my yaoi couples could have biological children together. Mpreg is fun!

When the sims first came out in 2000 I did not immediately know about the cheats. One outcome of that is I built a house and it was huge and amazing, but I spent all my money and, because I was young and stupid, I forgot to install doors. Oh dear. Realizing my mistake I made my sim wait for the newspaper and made him read it to find a job. He found a job but unfortunately because he was so hungry, tired and disgusting by the next morning he refused to get in his carpool and never made any money for me to buy doors. He faced certain death and with that I quit without saving to spare the poor sim.

Shortly after this happened my sisters discovered rosebud!;!;! and I used it for many years to come. Years later, while playing the sims 2, I decided to try my hand at foregoing any money cheats and actually raised a very successful, multi-generational family. The patriarch later died in a hot-tub fire on his gay son's rooftop deck, but regardless of this senseless tragedy this family has remained a testament to my sims playing ability.

However, this glory was shattered some time ago when I went back to try the same thing in the original sims and by golly I couldn't do it. Those first games were a lot more challenging than it's predecessors! Those sims were so finicky and time flew by ridiculously fast. Oh man, now I want to play the sims.

Who doesn't? The game is basically designed for cheating.
