So, do you have a protagonist with a strong goal and plenty of obstacles? Does your protagonist have both external and internal obstacles? Explain in great detail.

Well, somewhat off-topic here, but a protagonist should have a strong goal and plenty of obstacles. That's like basically asking people "is your protagonist shitty? did you not put any time and effort into your protagonist whatsoever?"

However all protagonists need to face challenges in one way or the other.


For example...

In most stories you can assume the progtag wins the fight and everything goes well

But its how they win that fight is what makes it interesting.

Because if it is just him/her obliterating the enemy with ease than its terrible.

However if him/her wins a fight and experiences a struggle or pain within it then it can be made into something more interesting or at least that is how I put it.

Opinions I suppose.
