I don't mind it if it's something like equal rights, equal pay, etc but for the most part these feminists seem to be against things that don't benefit them at all o_0

I mean, if some woman does a photo shoot in a bikini and the feminists say something like "oh, you're treating her like a sex object, you're sexist!" and then the publisher cancels it's summer time bikini sale thingy (i'm just making this up as an example) and in the end, you're not helping her, you've just screwed her out of a job lol.

REAL feminism is okay. It's the extremists who label themselves as feminist who piss me off.

"real" don't start with the no true scotsman fallacy.
and yeah too many using it for such a thing can be annoying or thinking one has to label oneself for that and gain rep/fame/"respect".
While just be oneself insted of joining either side even though MGTOW could be used but .... uhh.. oh well -__-

Feminism in action doesn't bother me. The armchair debate for and against it on the internet just gives me a headache.

I both respect and admire the feminist who only wants equality for herself and her sisterhood.

I abhor the feminist who wants superiority for her personal views and bigotries.

Fighting for your rights is admirable and heroic as long as it's not stepping on the rights of another; then it becomes greedy and self-serving and nothing more.

Most of the feminists (or skeletons) in the US, as far as I can tell, just want to bitch about something. They go after pop culture or video games that show woman as sexy or a damsel in distress and say "WHY DON'T THESE THINGS CATER TO ME?" Localization companies have even come out and said that they either censor games or refuse to release them in the west for fear of backlash. Even when they do censor the people who complain will still complain and/or will still not buy they game. It's pointless and alienates the fanbase even more. To someone who is actively against editing content to give in to the pressure or to appeal to a wider audience, this upsets me. For example, Xenoblade Chronicles X removed all references to religion in the game, Dolls were now called Skells, removed character creation tools (breast slider), and even removed outfits. I was very excited For XCX coming to the states, but after this all came to light I decided to just not get it. "But you're only mad because now you can't masturbate to the girls", that's not even it. Features are removed and butchers the original game's intent. I do understand there are some things you can get away with in Japan that you can't in the west. That's fine, but everything that Nintendo Treehouse changed would still have been ok to sell. I might as well add that I see people complain a lot in anime about female breasts saying "That's not how they work those sexist pigs". It's anime. Everyone's head and eyes are the size of balloons and apples respectively, everyone is missing a nose, and most involve powers or feats that aren't doable in everyday life, but the breasts are where you go "Yeah this ain't realistic"? Give me a break.

Back on topic, It absolutely angers me that the woman in the US that say "I'M OPPRESSED AND TRIGGERED" and don't give a damn about the woman in Middle Eastern countries who are actually oppressed. I've even heard the argument from a few that said "We shouldn't be worrying about their problems when we have so many equality problems here". What equality problems? "Woman make 72 cents off the dollar", except that's not true. That study accounted for men and woman in all job fields and how much time they worked. What that study showed was that woman were not as prevalent in higher wage fields (like engineering for example) and/or do not work as many hours. It has nothing to do with woman getting paid less for the same job.

I didn't really mean to go on a rant like this and I can delve deeper into discussion, but I think I've said enough.

Most video games are definitely aimed at guys and cater to them. And they treat male as the default. If the mc's sex is predetermined, they'll be male overwhelming. In the us they'll be white. There's aren't anywhere near the number of women in the field that you'd expect.

You're right about the study. But then what is the explanation. Are they being hired less, or applying less? If their applying less why? Also there's already a thread for this.

Not their sort of thing^
and much more into art if they get there.

Else not much you can do.. unless if there was a way you would want to press them into it in some way.

Not that there isn't "female" games out there made by men or things that a female like.. and not everything of it is "catering" to men.. then rather thats just how it is as it could be the easiest way to create games as well (unless when it maybe comes to art and why you see more fancy dressing cute/sexy ones and many times created by a female while being critized by other females).. *facepalm* why you do this? so what its sexy and cute? so what if we made what we wanted?... damn it...
