I thought this would be for pregnant women... Don't see the point in women only spots, but they aren't hurting anyone if men can park there too. Men will probably be looked at as a scumbag if they do though

I guess I know where to steal my cars from now on. The other 672 car bays that have shitty CCTV and lighting. With these convenient markings that tell me what to avoid.

I'll be sure to suggest as well an indicator that indicates if you have keys in your car.

This way we can make this even easier!

It's not really about rapists or thinking one sex is inferior, it's more about being considerate of people who take time to park. There are special spots for people with trolleys, so I don't see why this is so controversial.

Meh, it's not a big deal anyway. Nobody cares. It's pretty handy sometimes. For example when you drive home in the middle of the night and you want to buy water but all the regular parking spots for cars are blocked by trucks. But honestly don't make a big deal out of it because nobody cares if a man is using one of these spots.

Unless there's also parking spaces reserved for men, I'll park there when it's convenient.

This is stupid. Someone paid money to make this happen! That money could be going to a charity or me! You wasted it on this!
I'm not even offended by the sexism. I'm offended by the waste of money that you could have helped someone with.

I think statistically men have a higher chance of being mugged/assaulted in Australia. Don't quote me on it but yeah just increase security for all, plain and simple.

While men may have statistically higher chances of being assaulted, they are probably less likely to be concerned that they could be assaulted and have little to no concern of being sexually assaulted. So, it is likely something they are trying to see what kind of money they can make off of the fear from woman due to the perception of the likelihood of assault.

This just feels like Perth saying "we care more about women's safety than men's safety"

At first I thought this was something about larger bays for women due to their comparatively poor spacial awareness but now I see that it is not the case and is in fact bullshit.

You know a good way to make women feel equal? Stop treating them differently...

Can't just use the handicapped areas? like they have more space each also in some ways one would be at a disadvantage for both's health and protection of the child.
