gravely voiced dude. hes an american Voice actor who's probably been in a lot of good dubbed versions of anime (and some bad ones).

ex. he plays Spike spiegel from Cowboy Bebop on Toonami and Adult Swim. He's TOM from Toonami. He's Mugen from Samurai Champloo. He's Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children. He's Zabuza and Orochimaru from Naruto. He's Makoto Shishio in Kenshin Some people like him. but alot of ppl may not have heard of him since dubs these days are unbearable to the ears

another american you might have heard is Kirk Thornton who plays Saito.

He's hotohoro in Fushigi Yugi and Jin in Samurai Champloo. Saix in Kingdom Hearts 2. Orca in the dot hack series. among hundreds of minor voice work for many anime dubs. he may have the most credits of all male voice actors.

for me it's fine whether it's dubbed or subbed! they can the advantages and disadvantages

like in english it suits them! and universally applicable >i mean<
but the ORO part is >_< hu hu hu!

and the subbed part you have to pay attention with the subs....
and of course! the ORO is there! hehe

DUBBBED! In Japanese Kenshins voice was a lttle too high! I think it was even higher than an average girls voice!
Made me laugh when watching the first episode subbed!

I have to agree with most everyone for some reason...the dubbed version was surprisingly better than the subbed ...I too watched it dubbed first and so I think I became used to the voices and it was hard to here the Himura, well as a woman...lol...I liked Kenishin as a man much much better!

i think the subbed versions are still better then the ones that are dubbed 'cause you can learn a bit of japanese and hear what their real voices are in japanese!!!
