college shouldn't cost that much if it's costing more then $200 a year then something is wrong with the college system your country has

Im poor and anyone can afford to study atleast in my country you can be living paycheck to paycheck and be fine and able to study.

You realize the actual cost, even in Oz, is much more than that right? Your $200 tuition is that way because everyone who is actually working is subsidizing your school through taxes. How many credit hours is that anyway? Tuituion for a two-year institution here is usually in the range of 5-700 for a "full time" load of 12 credit hours for one semester.

the course im doing is $200 a year for everyone the cost is lower then it would be because of taxes and that's what taxes should be for to go to help those who want to study and for free public healthcare.

Its up to those that can afford to pay tax to pay it to help those below live and get to a place where they themselves can live and prosper.

people hate Taxes but they are VERY important without it alot of people would be homeless and working dead end jobs forever.

What do you mean by credit hours? if hours you mean by studying i study for 9 hours a week as i'm a part time student since i have other stuff i need to do (i'm in a few groups volunteer type stuff).

I know alot of people who are poor one guy whose family can't even pay for food and barely affords rent who went to school with no food all the time who now is going to college and next year university.

guy is still shit poor but he chose to study instead of working a dead end menial job which by all means is a better decision on all ends.

The few people that i know who aren't poor have chosen to work as delivery drivers etc and live that way because they aren't interested in getting a good job they just want a stable job and family which in it's own right is respectable however they would do better to get a higher education.

Even if you are working a menial job you can always make time to study and learn.

I may be poor but my life at the moment is 25% studying 25% volunteering 50% free time ...arguably i should study more and could take up a side course however i can't afford to do two courses at once and the full time course is no available in my town so i settle with what i have :)

Just means more time to watch anime play games and learn in my free time.

I could get a job in that time and raise my $500 a fortnight income higher however that would be pointless stress at this moment in time and i really would not like to do a job that doesn't interest me when i don't have to.

I mean that is why i quit my last job ...well besides the fact that i wanted to punch some of the customers in the face but...that's the fast food industry for you...honestly ill be glad to see my old job get filled in by a robot one day

Equip it with pepper spray, a taser or maybe a railgun.
No one would steal a pizza from a robot that's armed to the teeth. Then again no one would want to buy a pizza from one either so....

Pepper spray, Okay. I can take that

Taser, No problem.

Railgun? NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE. LEAVE THE ROBOT ALONE.

Right, paycheck to paycheck from a menial job you'll use as a stepping stone.

And I'm sure there are colleges that only cost $200 a year, not that I'd have any experience with places like that.
Saturday school costs more than $200 a year. The shittest community college in this city costs at least 5,000 dollars.

My parents clearly immigranted to the wrong country

well you are lucky because where I am college absolutely does not cost that much
everything is changing now, and for instance for me to even get into the vetinary field I have to study enough to be a technician , just to get in, which is going to be like...10 thousand dollars or more,
