What is your name?

Real name? Zach.

Zach for Zachary or just plain Zach?

Cool.

Probably common. If anything I would change it so I didn't have the same exact name as my dad.

When I visit my parents house and answer their phone, people always assume I'm him.

I like my unisex name. It's the middle name I have a problem with. If that wasn't the name of the midwife who helped me to be born then I would change that name. It was rare growing up with that middle name in the Caribbean. In some parts of the UK and nearby they'd think nothing of it.

I love my name and it's common. People don't like it in its full form but I love it.

unique hands down
Take it from someone who has a common Male name that is always in the top 10 of most used boy babynames.
I've been in a work crew that was literally 6 of us with the same first name......And we didn't really know each other so scrambling for nicknames wasnt pretty.....

Split em i'd say. I've got a fairly common first name, but my last name is only shared by a few people on the planet. If you're last name isn't too uncommon, i wouldn't be too afraid to be called by something else. If your last name isn't too common, i wouldn't be too worried about what your first name is

We can't choose our name so I don't really care. Sorry.

The grass is always greener, so as a John I would much rather have a unique name than a common one.

You can if you want. You're allowed to legally change your name (at least in America/I obviously don't know where you're from). I would never change my name personally though. I've been using it too long to just throw it away now.

A unique name for sure. It's great for businesses and stuff. Growing up in school there would always be another kid in one of my classes with the same name, so we would be forced to go by our middle names.
