Charlie, it's not popular in North America.

Common or unique I guess, pretty much depends on what it is tbh. A name like Apple is fine but Pastiche, umm, no thanks. :/

I have extremely common first and second name. But my last name is rather rare, something like ~50 people have the same.

I would not mind either way as long as there's meaning or a special reason behind that name.

Common, I prefer to go unnoticed.

Name is Devon. I like it. It's neither common nor is it weird.

I have a common name and I don't really mind. Only issue is when someone calls your name and you call back only to find they weren't talking to you... Awkward...

Common names are much better in my opinion.

I already have a unique name. My name means life in Spanish.
I am life.

Also if I have a child I'll give him or her a unique name.

I have both, actually. My first name is Kathryn, spelled a little uniquely (most will try to spell it as Catherine or even Katie). Middle is Macmillan, and nobody has that as their middle name.

I think I prefer having a common name with a unique spelling, so both?
