I don't disagree with the video, but I feel like Sargon is becoming more and more ideological as he focuses less on ideas and why he disagrees with them and more on crafting a narrative around the actions of a few individuals. We don't need someone to explain why the "anti-racist" at the beginning was wrong and if you want to talk about cultural appropriation, you should go into detail about why it is ridiculous, not about how the person calling out the white guy was enjoying themselves...

You noticed his increasing grandstanding behavior too. This is ironic actually.

Why am I not surprised we're on the same page yet again?

He's become more of an entertainer in his videos, not an intellectual. I grew tired of him and many others awhile ago. It's unfortunate how complacent people get in their views that they forgo reason for pompous attitudes. It's quickly become more of a circle jerking and self declared logical audience.

Yes, they should be challenged. But, from what I have see and experienced, the "social justice warriors" and a lot of the leftists, will just throw out accusations/attack others who don't see eye to eye with them.

I wouldn't know about him. That's the first video I've seen of him.

We shouldn't stoop to becoming ideologues to fight ideologues. That just gives them fuel and makes us blind to compromise, unwilling to understand and inflexible to change in the face of new information.

As for Sargon, I do like a lot of his videos, but there is a clear distinction between the ones that are entertainment and the one that are informative.

Um.. Sargon is far from being an ideologue. I havent seen the video yet, but the title makes it clear that he was just intending to poke fun at whoever he was covering from the get-go.

I was quite surprised to find politics on a crunchyroll forum, especially about the rising tide of Social Marxism. I, however, am not disappointed.

I think the social justice warrior is simply one who fights oppression on the grassroots level against foes that enact a bigoted agenda through the use of power and money. By way of democracy, many individual citizens can counter agendas that are only in the interests of the wealthy and powerful, but are hurtful to the average person.

With social media some of the loudest and most opinionated people have become the spokespeople for rallying activists toward social justice topics like racial, gender and LGBT equality. So I don't inherently think there's anything wrong with social justice and the activists behind different movements, it's only recently that a negative connotation has been attached to "social justice warrior."

I consider myself an activist who participates in movements of interest to the secular community like Church/State separation, LGBT issues and evidence based curriculum in education. But maybe I've just been good at avoiding the really extreme activists who lose sight of what they're really fighting for.
