traveling is one of the best things you can do for your self. It really expands your mind, opens your eyes, and allows your self to grow. talking to the locals with an open mind and learning about what their life is like is one of the most enlightening things you can do.

traveling by yourself is so underrated. i think it is awesome. though, sharing experiences with someone is always great and memorable- traveling on your own allows so much freedom to do whatever, whenever, with nothing holding you back. it is a freeing experience.

when i was your age (22), i studied abroad in Shanghai for a couple months. at the time i thought it was the best experience i ever had. feel free to message me if you have questions about traveling to Shanghai.

after graduating college i made it a goal to travel somewhere every year (preferably a foreign country but that isnt always possible due to responsibilities/work).

naming all the places i've visited would take too long, but in the last 3 years ive gone to:
Taipei, Taiwan
Portland OR
Sydney Australia
New York City
Los Cabos, Mexico
Joshua Tree CA
Los Angeles (for Anime Expo)
Montreal, Canada
Big Sur CA

Next month I'm flying to Seattle and renting a car, and then driving down the coast all the way to SF. Spending a week total, so its only a few hours of driving a day, with lots of hiking and exploring the coastline and state parks along the way. Airbnb makes it really easy to rent places to stay in any town at an affordable rate.

Next on my travel queue:
New Orleans
somewhere tropical, maybe Hawaii
Japan
somewhere in the southwest, like Sedona, Antelope Canyon, Mt Zion etc

I've traveled to practically every single country in Europe, since I grew up in Germany. Been to Thailand, S. Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Guam. Been to several places in US, though haven't seen nearly as many national parks as I'd like! Gotta see em all eventually! Been to many gorgeous places in Canada. Been to the Caribbean. Out of all the cities in the world that I have seen, I have to say the most beautiful is, without a doubt, Rome. There's a good reason why it's nicknamed The Eternal City! There are still Roman monuments that were built several hundred years BCE that remain standing! There is so much to see there as far as glorious art and architecture that you would need YEARS to see it all! I will definitely go back, haven't seen nearly enough of it! Most beautiful nature in the world I would definitely have to say is in the US, there's so much to see and it's such a big country!

My parents went to Morocco and Egypt, my brother went to Kenya and Tanzania to hike with some friends up Mount Kilimanjaro. I'd like to maybe travel to Morocco and maybe other places in Africa, just haven't been able to go anywhere in Africa or South America yet.

Yes. I want to travel the world, see this beautiful planet we live on and visit or even live in countries I dream of going to.
Life is too precious to not travel. Everyone should at least have one experience. it really gives you a broader understanding and on how life is like around the world and to makes you think.
I plan on traveling after uni and to try and make the most out of my life before I get too settled where it'll become hard to do things.

Places I want to go to in the future would be:

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Japan
most of Europe.
Egypt
Canada

I hope you get to go to all those places and anywhere else you desire. I wish everyone in this forum the best of luck and safe travels to all the destinations you want to go. Haven't been to Rio, but Brazil is becoming more turbulent, what with its economy going into recession and its President resigning. Please be careful if you do decide to go there, and maybe go in a group if you travel to either Brazil or Egypt. Hopefully, you get to go soon!
