What is it you consider yourself? A citizen, peasant, or a slave? Once you've answered please explain why and under which flag were you born?

I am a citizen. I was born in the United States. My blood line had originated from several lands generations before I was born. I consider myself to be a citizen of my nation before all other things. I don't see color. I take as person as they are and as they present themselves. I do not seek confrontation. But, if it is sought against me then I will defend myself. As is my right to self defense as protected under the law of my nation. I can speak my mind in my land. I can do so because that right as all of them have been paid for in blood. Then men and women of my nation paid that price long ago to ensure that I would. I do not dishonor their sacrifice. I acknowledge my nations history. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I refuse to ignore it and any attempt to erase it. I accept that it is part of my nations history and I honor it.

I love my country. Because, life is such a fleeting thing and we do not know what waits on the other side of it. For the time that I occupy this earth I an grateful to those who gave something for this land in which I live. It is this land that I call home and any attempts to subjugate it will be met with the up most defiance. I am an American citizen and I am proud of the under which I was born.

A diplomat.

I don't have that kind of pride for a single country. I just appreciate the planet's vast diversity of cultures and recognize there are differences.
As long as pride and greed exist, there's going to be conflict in order to pacify some enormous egos.

I don't stand by a single belief to represent or support a single country because of what the media or the government feeds the people, because there is more to the story than shown at face value. I wouldn't know what the "truth" is, so I wouldn't blindly and wholeheartedly support that "truth". I've lived in several different countries, and each one is being told something different than the others.

Instead, I'd just embrace cultural and national differences, because new experiences open up the mind to bigger and better ideas.

I suspect that I am a hologram.

I only have memories for the past dozen years and each day washes over me and never sticks. I wake up, but I'm not sure I sleep. I have no nation flag as I'm not sure who created me. However, I suspect God is real and my consciousness is fake.
