Let me know if a thread like this one exis or not.
Thanks a bunches.

I don't politics very much and find it rather boring. I don't really cares who becomes president either. I feel like politics is something I should try to be apart of but it's just so boring. The only time I care for politics is if it's in fiction. Other than that I can care less about real life politics. I also feel like I'm not smart enough for politics either and I HATE choosing sides. These things make me uncomfortable. So, is it weird that I don't want to be involved in politics?

Enjoy!!!

Hi as someone who is forced to vote I can say that I am particularly indifferent about politics. Political discussions bring out the worst in people, if you don't identify with someone's party you're automatically "not intelligent", hated and ganged up upon by multiple people. I think people should enter discussions to better themselves not to defend their political ideology. Arguments especially about politics seem to be about who can insult the other person more. There's no real points or maybe some points are said but it's mainly about "winning" and belittling the other person.

Nope. I really don't care this time around. It's more like a thing for me to make jokes about.

I agree.

I try not to get too involved in politics myself, cuz in the end everyone has their own opinions, and that's not gonna magically change. So why bother.

I have nothing to do with politics, I have no idea about the different parties and what they stand for and I really don't care at all! I just feel that everyone has their own opinion, and whoever does win, they can't please everyone.. and they never do what they say they are going to anyway so why bother

It's sad that democracy has been so perverted it is now just a delusion kept in place by the powerful to for the sake of the status quo. Just like every other political system. The idea that you can promote change from the 'inside' turns any person with good intentions into a mindless yes person for their party.

Thankfully there is always cake

I have the same personality. I could not care less about politics or policies.
