It's not the most interesting topic in the world, but I try and involve myself over what I deem important matters. That being said, I don't like talking about it with people, at least not things that people can be divided on; that generally devolves into people saying 'You either support the correct side that I do or you're a fuckin' retard'. Tends to bring out the worst in people.

Thanks a bunches.

I don't politics very much and find it rather boring. I don't really cares who becomes president either. I feel like politics is something I should try to be apart of but it's just so boring. The only time I care for politics is if it's in fiction. Other than that I can care less about real life politics. I also feel like I'm not smart enough for politics either and I HATE choosing sides. These things make me uncomfortable. So, is it weird that I don't want to be involved in politics?

Enjoy!!!

The way the outlook is right now between a crazy racist business tycoon, a lying crooked elitist politician, a sleazy disgusting opportunist nobody likes, and a crazy old man that doesn't know how economics work and thinks that unicorns and rainbows will solve everyone's problems, I think this is the perfect time to be proud to be completely ignorant on politics. This is the worst cast of characters to ever run for office all at once and no matter who "wins" we as a people will lose. It doesn't help that Hillary Clinton is the sensible one in the group. Great job, America! Of course, i guess the flip side of being ignorant is that ignorance breeds ignorance, which led us to this horrible situation that we are in right now. If more people did their own damn research and actually looked at all the broad facts instead of whatever talking heads they prefer to listen to, or buy everything the lying government agencies or groups are saying as fact, maybe we wouldn't be in the awful position that we are in now where it looks like the general election is going to be between a crook and a bombastic self-promoter. We as a country deserve whatever happens to us at this point since WE are the reason for our own failures by now. Maybe if everything explodes and the economy tanks something fierce, maybe more people would actually pay attention to what these morons are saying instead of hoping they will solve all their problems with dangerous rhetoric that does more bad than good (Trump and Sanders are the biggest fools when it comes to out right lying to their two bases with a bunch of pandering rhetoric that will never happen.)

Sorry, politics pisses me off right now...

I have nothing to do with politics, I have no idea about the different parties and what they stand for and I really don't care at all! I just feel that everyone has their own opinion, and whoever does win, they can't please everyone.. and they never do what they say they are going to anyway so why bother

No, its pretty normal to be disengaged with politics. Few people get invested until they have an issue(s) they care about in the politi sphere.

I personally like being informed about what's going on, but it is kinda depressing constantly finding out how corrupt things are. Also, as a MSW student I need to keep up to date on certain policies that will affect my future career. But I have 0 interest in discussing politics with people, especially online. People just want to argue, name call and refuse to admit when they're wrong.

Not a good way to look at thing. :/

If the general population was more informed and less reactionary, or less distracted by things that in the end will serve to not really make their lives that much better, maybe we wouldn't be in our current situation.

Noooot really.

I hate arguing with people, and politics tend to be a very controversial topic, so I pretty much try avoid talking about that as much as possible.

Fair enough. However, to me anyway, it should revoke your right to complain when the people elected screw over your life by signing a bad law or tax into effect. Since you never paid much attention, it shouldn't matter, right? :/
