That's the video and i will simply write here what i wrote on the video to sum up my feelings note that whilst i do see suicide as selfish i also believe its just as selfish to keep someone alive just because things may get better and so it doesn't impact you.

What i wrote

As someone with depression , Aspergers ( which is not a bad thing if anything its part of the reason i didn't off myself in the past) and OCD who has tried to end there life TWICE (once stopped by an mmo company when i told a friend (THANKS JAGEX) and the other a failed overdose) all i can say to this idiot is FUCK YOU to this streamer.

Yes alot of the times problems can be dealt with and im alot happier now (still depressed and miserable) and glad i did deal with them but guess what it's fucking selfish that i had to be kept here.

If its selfish to kill yourself because of others then you need to also accept its selfish not to let someone kill themselves just because of you and other people.

Keeping someone alive in a life they hate that they have tried so hard to live and have success but keep coming to the point of suicide is just SELFISH.

"But its good for them things get better"

BULLSHIT this is not always true infact things got alot worse for me and are worse now the only reason i'm alive is my fear of death and pain and the fact that i have HOPE that in the future i will be happy.

I'm living on a fucking hope and a dream studying and working everyday and want to die i choose not to because i have hope still but if i lose that hope or anyone does and they want to die not allowing them to is fucking selfish.

EDIT : He made a public apology and stepped down from his career

http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1soj9ft Whilst a sad story and explains alot it does not excuse what he did but i hope for him he learns from this.

I agree with what he said but he said it in the most aggressive way possible. Suicide may be selfish but we as humans do selfish things daily. If someone is selfish it does not necessitate something being "bad". While I have never thought about actually doing suicide I have thought about the good old "What if I died, who would care" train of thought and no matter which way I think of it, there's always someone who will get upset. I would get upset if I heard a CR user died, it leaves me with a bad taste and I get stomach butterflies.

That being said we're not all programmed the same way and we all don't have the same ability to cope. I think it's wise to go out of your way to someone you suspect may be having bad thoughts such as suicide and simply ask "Are you okay?", if you really suspect the person is hiding their feelings you ask "No, are you really okay?" And that should get the majority of people, I speak from experience having had the "Are you okay?" question asked a few times and I simply would say "yeah", hiding my feelings.

Regardless of anyone's thoughts on the issue itself, I think this was a very poor response to someone who donated and thanked the streamer.
Out of all the entertaining, positive, funny gamers out there, why is Crunchyroll sponsoring this dickshit?

Because he is popular most likely
His Apology which i added in the main post explains a lot of his behavior but imo does not excuse it.

All I got is that there's one hell of an aggressive reaction cycle, and that it sucks to be in a position where you cannot give a frank and honest response.

Sensitive audience + harsh streamer = RIP streamer's youtube career

I agree. It was just some guy who probably would have been better served calling a crisis number, not some asshole streamer. And while I think he meant well it just led to him pissing off numerous others IMO.

To be fair getting pissed off because of his remarks that are just aggressive hardly makes you sensitive.

I know alot of non-sensitive people who would be pissed off and mad at this guy.

Really the streamer is at fault not the guy.

I understand how it feels i mean my suicide attempt was stopped by an mmo company so i went and publicly thanked them the next day.

This guy just wanted to thank the guy who made his life feel worth living for once.

The guy who donated wasn't acting like he needed a crisis number but he was thinking the guy who was his hero in a sense for making him want to live longer.

Nobody cares when random people die... its just the truth, 151,600 people die every day and the world still moves on. As for suicide who cares about some weak minded person that wants to give up and not at least try to live for themselves.< applies to successful suicides

As for the streamer he needs to shut his mouth, he just wanted to thank him for motivating him out of his troubled times and helping him through suicide.

I think in the case of suicide, everyone should mind their own business and people should be able to do what they want with their own lives :/ we're all entitled to be "selfish" sometimes!
