Well, that was certainly a memorable chapter. Here's to hoping there will be some new doujins or whatever stemming from the events that occured.

Color me surprised, I can't believe he actually dedicated a whole chapter to it.

I hate what they've done to Mutsuki's character, he was a good trans. character but now has been turned into a psychotic yandere <_<

Also while I love TouKen (and have since the first series); not a fan of the way it was done. I thought TG was better and above doing gratuitous and faux mature sex scenes, but guess I was wrong. They could've gone with having them go into it being heavily implied (fade to black type), then picking back up with it afterwards thus not making it about the fanservice aspect and not sexualizing Touka; instead they sexualized Touka and lowered the maturity and intelligence of the series in order to have cheap fanservice (and likely to appeal to edgelords and perverts). An entire chapter used to give perverts their fap material and downgrade Touka from badass tomboy to waifu (which has been happening for awhile in Re with her being shifted to being more feminine and having less fight scenes)

What really gets me about the last chapter is how not a few hours earlier Touka was like "I will let you have sex with me if that means you will stay"

So this happening now seems like its less out of feelings and more out of the situation they are in and emotions in general running high. Like, if you wanted to put this kind of scene in this manga, this was not the right place to put it at all.

This is one of the ways this chapter failed to live up to TG's usual intelligent and mature standard.

At any rate, I think we can safely label this as the biggest death flag in the series to date. We all know Ishida pretty much never does feel-good moments like this unless it's to set us up for a big fall. And this was probably one of the most-emotionally charged chapters in the manga, if not the most. Which can only mean Ishida's setting us up for one hell of a fall.

As for the fanservicey aspects, my perception is probably skewed, but as someone who uh, occasionally partakes in a certain genre of manga, this chapter felt very non-fanservicey for what it was depicting. This was all about the emotion, rather then the... other stuff. Considering another aspect of Ishida's writing style mentioned in my previous paragraph, and I can only assume that Ishida chose to depict it relatively explicitly in order to deliver the maximum (positive) emotional punch. In terms of the feels, this is probably the calm before the storm. The last tender moment before everything goes to hell.

Fasten your seatbelts everyone, we're at the top of the hill. Ishida's wild ride is about to get wilder.

I am scared of the gigantic death flag that is now looming over the story, but I am also happy that the acknowledgement of the ship didn't have to wait until the end of the story.

I completely disagree in that the fanservice aspects and focus on sex took away from the emotional focus and didn't even add anything to it except as perv-bait. And worst is how this is the first time that it was done, every other time Ishida has always kept the focus on intelligent story telling and the characters; even way back with Nishio and Kimi it never went into this that territory and actually gave the proper emotional atmosphere to them instead of making it fanservice. The scene kept going back to showing off Touka as she was in various stages of undress and even a big piece of a page to her standing topless, then proceeded to a gratuitous sex scene which did nothing but give perv-bait as it didn't demonstrate any emotions. The final page's image carried more emotion with Touka holding Kaneki after the deed than anything that happened during it. I love Touken, but this chapter didn't make me happy nor did it make my heart flutter, instead it just cheapened both the pairing/relationship and Touka as a character.

After reading ch. 126, that's how one actually hits the emotions and is an emotionally-charged chapter, while reminding me why I love Touken. It also maintains the series's style and maturity, even though I still hate what is being done with Mutsuki. I'd rather just ignore the existence of 125 and focus on 126 and beyond.

I can't even tell you it popped out of nowhere. It was so surprising, the suspense is killing me.

Well idk if I'm right about this but as long she eats human flesh wouldn't it be fine. Although human food makes their bodies deteriorate as long as they eat human flesh wouldn't it be fine. I swear if Ishida, the author, kills Touka ima flip out.

My question is who are really the clowns? Do they own the city ? The ccg? Why are they always getting out o everything ? Now Furata is just chilling with them.

Touka is as good as dead. This will triggered Kaneki to finally start getting rid of the ccg
