If you want another season post what you think should be in it.

I personally really liked erased so I was wondering who else does.

I really liked Erased, but the story is complete. Let it go.

The story ended pretty nicely, it doesn't need to be dragged out anymore.

No thanks. The story's been told. Another season would be pointless.

Just because something is good, doesn't mean more of it would be even better.

I wouldn't mind like a 30 min special diving a little deeper into the story.

I mean unless you somehow concocted another reason for the protagonist to use his powers, there's not anything to really build on from the season ending.

But I fear you might be going down the root of contrivance plot-wise if you did something like that, especially with how much meaning and motivation to the character the scenario had for this story.

More to the point, nothing about the way this story was written was left open-ended. I too loved this series, but that's just the way I see it in my opinion.

Maybe an alternative ending where...
That's all I can think of.

If they focus on side stories for other characters like Airi, Hinazuki or Yashiro, no problem. But Satoru's story is finished, it doesn't need anything else.

Perhaps an OVA that that follows the way the manga ended sure, but has that ever actually been done before?

The story gave me an ending that wrapped everything up and gave me all things I wanted from it. The story is finished. If they continued it they would just ruin it.

I understand the feeling of wanting more, but to be honest it was a good ending and a happy one at that! He'll never use revival again and the whole premise of the story was him trying to save his mother and friends, which he accomplished.

I feel the same. It was a great series, but it is complete. Sometimes great things are spoiled when over done.

No story is ever completed, only abandoned.

Satoru could face another problem thirty years from now that makes him rewind 25 years.

If it were continued it wouldn't be as good as the original and people would say "the first season was great but that second season was awful".
This would deter people who haven't ever seen the series from watching it. By creating a bad second season/continuation you hurt the series as a whole.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realise you can SEE THE FUTURE.

I guess I should have guessed, given the nature of the anime in question. You're undoubtedly here to prevent the production of the most Godawful anime ever made, which drove the creator to suicide just before angry mobs locked up all the fans and made them eat bugs.
