Man I just finished Kuroko no Basket and I loved it, it was so much fun to watch. I love to exercise and play sports that's why I made the forum to unite sports anime with sports people

Let me know what your favorite sports anime character is!

For me its got to be Aomine Daiki

He's just a beast

These are some old school characters, but they were a part of my childhood:

First, Tsubasa Ozora, also known as Oliver Atom in some parts of the world. He's the protagonist of Captain Tsubasa, a really good soccer manga and anime, his desire to get better is really inspiring.

And also, Hanamichi Sakuragi, the main character of Slam Dunk. In case you haven't heard of the show, it's basically the Kuroko no Basket of the 90's. If you haven't seen the show, I highly recommend it, many people consider it the best sports anime of all time.

Here's a little fun fact: both of these manga were published in Shonen Jump, just like Kuroko.

Favourite would be either Seijūrō Akashi or Sawamura Eijun. I like Makoto Hanamiya even though he is a complete jerk. Atsushi Murasakibara was also a pleasure to watch on the field.

I will second this. Everyone can be a badass in anime. But not everyone has the power to make other people badasses.
