Yes, it's recently been proven that the plastics in the fast food is lowering childrens IQ's.

I think that many people can only afford fast food and places like this are necessary.

It's unhealthy but good if you're traveling and need food quickly.

So, the solution is that everyone ought to move out of the cities, and take up farming morning tonight so they can eat fresh food. If everyone did that then you wouldn't have all the benefits that modern civilization provides (watching anime?). It seems that I recall that some governments already tried that. I guess you wouldn't have to worry about commuting to work, though, but you would still have to worry about the government regulating you and telling you what you can grow.

Truthfully I do. It shortens your lifespan, it causes you to have serious health issues down the road.

It is immoral to interfere with the behaviour of otherwise peaceful people.

I have every right to eat whatever diet I personally choose to eat.

Even if you COULD force me to eat a diet that would extend my lifespan and improve my health, IT IS MORALLY WRONG TO DO SO.

It's MY diet, MY lifespan, and MY health. YOU can stay the hell out of it.

This is where you should have stopped but you continued on.

I am not forcing a diet on you. I am not telling you you can only eat vegetables. Acting like fast food is the only food in existence is the issue I am seeing here.

It is morally right to help others live longer under normal circumstances. Eating Fast Foods too much is been proven on numerous to cause heart attacks because of increased heart disease chance. It is incredibly irresponsible and immoral of businesses and the government to allow this to happen to people for the sake of making money.

Why are we assuming that fast food is always like McDonalds and the like? I can set up a food truck that serves pita bread stuffed with hummus, yogurt sauce, and gyro meat, and it'd count as "fast food."

Vegetable only is a diet.
Diet:

1.
the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats.
"a vegetarian diet"
synonyms: selection of food, food, foodstuffs; More
2.
a special course of food to which one restricts oneself, either to lose weight or for medical reasons.

Both forms of the word say that what you are wanting to do is force a diet on people. Everyone has a diet. You want to force people to a specific type of diet.

hm, it's not that i don't agree fast food is bad for you, bc it definitely is, but for some people that is their only food. they don't have money to buy a ton of groceries so they buy fast food. i know that isn't the case for every consumer of fast food but it's scary to think we would be taking away some people's source of filling their hunger yknow? i do think maybe the general public should cut back on eating it though

Do you have any idea how cheap rice is? You could spend $9 and have 25lbs of rice to eat. That, with the addition of veggies and a sauce of your choice would go a lot further, be lot cheaper, AND be a lot better for you than fast food. Maybe it's just me,but there is no reason to eat fast food at all.

I know most fast food is unhealthy, but if i'm travelling and don't have the time/money to go to an actual restaurant, then it's a lifesaver. It's also a cheap, easy (and delicious) alternative when i don't feel like making food for myself. Not to mention, there are some healthy fast food joints that serve delicious food. Overall, it's stupid to ban something because some people don't understand "moderation." If this was about raising the health standards of fast food, then it'd be different.

Exactly what I said back in the third post:
"Everyone knows fast food is evil, because it's McDonald's, and Supersize Me, and like that! "
Nooooo...."Fast food" is whatever instantly consumable food you buy packaged for takeout rather than have served at a table. Which makes buying a yogurt and fruit cup at a lunch truck "fast food". It's fast.

The OP says more about people who go on SJW crusades based on ONE prejudice they pump their own personal issues into, rather than put much thought into it, or....any. Which, unfortunately, is how things get banned.

I have exactly one diet, which belongs to me and is under my control. Forbidding the one I have forces me to have a different one. This is morally wrong.
