I honestly swear loads everyday, people that know me don't mind me swearing but I got death stares from strangers all the time

What do you think about people that use swear words? do you swear a lot? if not, why?

I can't really talk without it these days. Side effect of being a social recluse I suppose.

I almost never swear. That way people know things just got serious if I do.

My mother always said people who swear a lot have a limited vocabulary and do it because they just aren't educated enough to actually express themselves without it. This article appears to prove her wrong. http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2015-12-17/study-people-who-swear-more-are-smarter-have-larger-vocabulary

That being said, I tend to avoid people who swear frequently. It is an annoying verbal habit similar to using the word "like" every other word or starting every sentence with "you know." Additionally, I feel there are times and places where it is not appropriate to use some of the words. For example, in front of a young child who will imitate you without knowing what they are saying and whose parents will not appreciate having to teach the child not to use those words.

I swear a lot when talking with friends and playing video games. I don't really like swearing but I'm from Australia so it's like my birthright.

Your mother is right I swear! Excuse the pun but swears come out of my mouth subconsciously when I can't think of anything to say or I need to express rage in words without needing to make sense.

I don't really mind, as long as I don't hear a swear every other word in every sentence. Especially when mixed with racial slurs, annoys me so much.

i disagree with the quote/picture, but anyways i typically don't hang around potty mouths. i don't think they're bad people just bc they curse but i personally don't care to hear a cuss word every six seconds

I think it isn't so bad and it doesn't bother me very much. It only bothers me when it's mean spirited or if it's around children. I don't like to do it.

I'm generally fine with people who swear in normal conversation, as long as it's not excessive in a public or professional setting, or around children. I kinda just think that's common/should be common decency.

If you're just hanging out with me then be as creative and colorful as you want.

Swearing increases workplace morale as long as it's not done at someone in a demeaning fashion. Screaming fuck and kicking a server that's going to be tossed is great stress relief that anyone that works IT should have the joy of doing at work.

As someone who never swears (it's a trait that those around me pick up fast for some reason) I don't care too much if someone else swears. Excessive swearing is annoying, but used in a joke or the like I have no issue.

Swearing is good, I swear all the time and have done since I was able to talk.
