A desperate mom was filmed on her knees when it left her and her husband behind. Her three kids were on board the ship. The ship was leaving the Bahamas for New York.

And this is why I don't do cruises.

Heartbreaking, but by your own reporting the children had a caretaker onboard. Worst comes to absolute worst the parents could have the local naval/coast guard forces radioed to bring the ship in to return the children to safety. Problem solved?

That was awkward lol.

This is why I'm always early to things.

not really unless the ship was sinking XP
Dunno how she felt mentally though.. (like if the uncle wasn't there but then again they would let the kids stay behind anyway with the father)
oh well.. learn it better next time be on point XP

Just looking at the husband taking it.. "yeah.. we where too late.. damn it next time!"

The couple was clearly late for the well-known schedule, and the kids were with their uncle. I lack sympathy for the foolish duo.

Kids were supervised.
Parents were unable to keep to the schedule.

Parents = paying for flight home.
Kids = safe.

So I am confused as to why the mother took off without anyone knowing where she was and did not come back in time? Surely she knew what the itinerary was. It also sounds like the father knew the ship might have to leave, since it states that it was decided he would take travel documents with him before he went to look for her. To be honest as a mother, this sounds like carelessness on her end. Maybe the ship could have waited even longer, but what was she doing?!

Sounds to me like mom snuck off for a little vacation time of her own and now she pays for it
