Several surprising picks in the 1st round. I'm glad the Saint's pick wasn't one of them. It seems they listed Rankins as a DE on that draft card suggesting this mystical 3-4 base they supposedly have. If they can make a move for Andrew Billings in day 2 that would suddenly be a legit front. A guard would be nice too in the 2nd.

My sleeper pick this time around will be Matt Judon in the 3rd. I got it right with Kikaha and Armstead; if I get it right again maybe I should start looking into becoming a scout /s

Any chance they go for Jack in round 2 if he's still there?

Also, Laremy Tunsil...holy smokes.

If it were me I would take the chance on him if he is still available, but with all the injured free agents they have had in recent years they may be a bit too shy for it.

Tunsil, that was a shocking slide... only to find out the video is old. I'm not sure why teams just didn't trust all the clean tests he's had.

It's not just his slide. Ole Miss could be in some serious trouble with all the stuff the hacker has leaked.

Oh, WOW... I just looked all of that up. That's crazy. Someone has it out for them.

Hoping my Falcons just pick up more defensive players. Offense is fine if they can stay healthy and get consistent...

I'm surprised at Goff and Wentz going 1/2. I don't think they're all that great but the NFL is starving for QBs right now. Combine that with how fast they try to implement them without a mentor and most just crash and burn. Not too mention one is from a losing SoCal team and the other FCS... Oh well, it leaves more on the board for the rest. Zeke is going to thrive with that Cowboys Oline. Also Tunsil... kids are so stupid with social media these days that is isn't even funny. The hacker is a pos for sure, but who the hell records themselves doing that shit and keeps the evidence around? Idiot.

Crazy draft so far though. Lots of talent to be had still.

Sheldon Rankins, he was listed as a DT and has the versatility to play any position in either a 4-3 or 3-4 front. He may be a bit small to play the nose though. This means he can be moved around a lot like they did with Cameron Jordan.

Day 2 is in the books. Like what the Saints did, getting Thomas and Bell. Not thrilled with the Packers.

I can't believe Connor Cook is still there. What's the deal?

Overall, I'm happy with each pick the Saints have made so far. A few surprise picks today for sure though! Wasn't expecting Henry to go to the Titans and wasn't expecting Jack and Smith to go that early in the 2nd.

Fans seem to be really blasting them for trading up for Bell. I don't really see the issue. A safety for the big nickel is a need, and he has the potential to develop into a good starter.

As for Connor Cook I can't seem to find any one reason why teams would pass on him. It's a bunch of little things, but if one were to stand out it seems people aren't satisfied with his throwing mechanics. That's the one thing that may be more difficult to teach.

That I could definitely understand, if the Jets hadn't selected Hackenberg in round 2. His mechanics look flat out terrible. I know about his offensive line and Franklin's system, but he should have at least showed something if he's as good as he's supposed to be.

As for fan reaction to Bell, I think I know what that's about. We're in the middle of SEC country, where tOSU is highly disliked. Same thing happened when they drafted Malcolm Jenkins in 2009.
