○ cataleya scarlette

Seeing the man's expression, Cataleya's expression remained impassive, but inside, she was slightly laughing at how silly his expression looked. If she had to be honest, she had that look a lot, especially when it came to getting information from others. She wasn't the type to torture information from people, instead, she'd . . well, that's a secret, isn't it? However, hearing his words, Cataleya blinked. Compensation? She thought to herself as she shook her head. Cataleya had to admit, he was loyal . . to a fault. Would he really rat his friend our for mere coins? That's foolish. There were others tougher than that, to say the least, she was a bit disappointed at the ultimatum the man chose. Even if he gave her information that was farce or not, she nodded. "If I were your guild member and you ratted a fellow out, I'd have your head. Is money that worth it to you?" She questioned him, not wanting him to regret his words. But, before she knew it, Simon had already given the man a large sack of coins. Seeing the man's gloves, she made another mental note of the mana etched on them.

Narrowing her eyes at him, she eyed his expression, his body language, and words. Hearing the receptionist Aislyn Fiore speak out of turn and at her exclamation, Cataleya duly noted the man's name: Reginald Moore. "A mission? What mission was it that needed both members of the guild to take? Do you normally need two members for one mission?" She asked out-loud, knowing she worked well alone, but thought the guild members worked alone as well, sometimes there were group missions, but was this one of them? At hearing that both Slane and the other fiesty guild member went on this mission, Cataleya narrowed her eyes, how bad can she be? Unless . . she was as reckless as Slane "Skillshot" then they were definitely in for some turns of events.

As Reginald walked away, she looked towards Simon,"I don't mind traveling to the East. A carriage. . ? Hrm . . I suppose it'll be an efficient way to travel." She said out-loud, following behind Simon as she walked outside of the Guild. Once they reached outside, she waited for Simon to call for a carriage. Once he finished, Cataleya took in her surroundings before putting her attention on Simon, "He may be lying, Simon. Are you sure you want to follow his words?" Cataleya asked him, wanting to know what he thought of the answers they received. "I, for one, don't care if it's truth or farce, it's the only lead we have." She said determined as she heard hooves of horses approaching along with the carriage. Cataleya observed Simon quietly once more before a small smile appeared on her face, "It's nice to see you again, Simon, it's been awhile since we've sat down to chat, even if the circumstances aren't ones fitted for the occasion."

Aldaris Za'firo Multhaz al-Kehth

He couldn't help but grin as he watched Cataleya systematically bid her goodbyes and her exit from the hall. She was interesting before but now she seems to surprise him even more. He bid his farewells to the prince and the guests surrounding him before he slowly made his way towards his companions and their entourage. To go or not to go, that was the thought that raced within his mind. To go on a small adventure with a beautiful and capable warrior, maybe even find some things worth taking too after finding Simmons; or return to the South and inevitably declining the offer...choices, choices. By the time he reached his people, he still hadn't come up with an answer. Ashara and Hasna noticed his contemplative look before asking, "My lord, is there something bothering you?" Ashara then placed her hand on his arm before gently squeezing it while Hasna took to his side and rested her head on his shoulder before asking, "Yeah, Aldi, is there something wrong? You can tell us and maybe we can help find some answers if you want..."

Aldaris turned to Ashara before giving her a serene smile. He then turned to Hasna before kissing the top of her head. He pulled them both closer to him before he whispered, "I was offered to go on an adventure by a member of the Royal Militia. My problem is whether or not I should accept the invitation." The two nodded their head in understanding while basking under his warm, airy presence. Before long, Ashara then started to guide both Hasna and Aldaris outside of the hall with their Janissary escorts following behind. "Let's retire to our camp, my lord. While we walk, you can think of the Militia's offer."

He pondered a great deal as they traveled back to their camp outside the city. By the time they reached the camp, he finally made a decision after discussing it with Ashara and Hasna. It was decided that he would go accompanied by 2 members of the Janissary Corp while the two would hold down the fort with the rest of the men so to speak. That evening, after freshening up, he shared a night of passion with his two mates. Each of them understood that this was the last night where they would be together before he goes on his journey. Thus, the two would want to impart their feelings to him, letting him know that they would miss him in his absence.

When morning came he slowly removed himself from the grasp of his lovers before donning on a breast plate, greaves, and vambraces made of Prestahn Steel above his usual attire as well as wearing an ornate half mask made of Akhran Bronze. He packed a few extra clothes masks for the journey, he secured his weapons on his person, packed a few extra supplies, and secured a hefty purse with enough gold to last him the journey. When all this was done, he made his way to Cataleya's guild hall.

Upon arriving at the location, he quickly noticed her and another man by her side. A partner perhaps? Both of them wore the ensemble of the guild, so it was only logical, he thought. He quickly made his way to them and greeted them, "Hail! I have accepted your summons and I am ready to assist in any way I can.". He said as he bowed to the pair in a jovial manner.

○ cataleya scarlette

As she waited for Simon, Cataleya took this moment of silence as she looked towards the bright, blue sky as the sun's rays were shining down upon them, as if the Goddess was giving them her blessing and any others who were on a mission. However, as the carriage approached and came to a stop near them, Cataleya walked towards the Coachmen, thanking him for his service. As the Coachmen took a break before they journeyed to the East, Cataleya decided to walk ahead to where the horses where, allowing them to sniff her hand and see her before she touched them. Horses were easy to spook, especially if they were suddenly touched by someone and they didn't see them. A kick from a horse would end up in a cracked rib, sometimes even death, depending how strong the horses' kick is. Smiling at the horses, Cataleya gently reached a hand out towards them, as they approached her. "Are you hungry?" She asked them softly, before handing them some apples she had managed to store with her when she traveled.

Cooing and talking to the horses, Cataleya wanted to make sure they were also taking a break and got a lot of water and food before they went to the Eastern region of Estal. However, before she knew it, she heard a voice and footsteps approaching the carriage, her, Simon, and the Coachmen. Walking away from the horses to get a better look who arrived, Cataleya's eyes widened at the sight. What laid before her eyes was a man dressed with breast plates, greaves, and vambraces made of steel as well as a mask of bronze. The attire to her was a sight to see and it was beyond recognizeable. Seeing that the man picked up his pace, Cataleya squinted her eyes slightly, trying to see who the person was, only to be shell-shocked that was none other than Lord Aldaris. Gasping slightly, Cataleya waved slightly as she walked towards hi, "Lord Aldaris!" She exclaimed before bowing her head towards him. "I'm so glad you made it. Welcome, welcome." Cataleya said enthusiastically before turning towards Simon. Smiling softly at him, she introduced the two, "Lord Aldaris, this is Simon, Prince Malik's trusted aid. Simon, this is Aldaris Za'firo Multhaz al-Kehth of the Southern regions. I had asked him if he'd like to accompany us on this Quest. The more the merrier? Perhaps?" Cataleya softly said, hoping Simon didn't mind she had asked a Lord to come along with them to find Slane "Skillshot" Simmons. This time, she spoke to the two of them in general, as she spoke of her opinions and suggestion of what they should do as well as updating Lord Aldaris of what's been happening. "We're heading to the Eastern region. Reginald, a fellow guild member of Slane's, stated he was on a mission as well as another fiesty member. Perhaps we should get to know what mission they're on before diving in head first without any notice or precaution?"

Aldaris Za'firo Multhaz al-Kehth

Aldaris nodded his head to Simon. The prince's aide is a peculiar man. All he could see were contradictions, just like his beloved Ashara. "A pleasure Simon. May this day bring us good fortune and our hunt be swift and decisive." He then turned to Cataleya. Hearing her sound suggestion, he nodded his head and his gaze hardened, "I see. Yes, that would be for the best. Knowing our target's movements would greatly help in the search and would also keep us abreast on any changes or deviation to the man's usual routine." Aldaris said as he saw two of his Janissaries approach them on horseback. The masked guards armed with standard gear and muskets while the horses were outfitted with a thin layer of Prestahn Steel armor. They took up positions at both ends of the carriage. "I hope you won't both mind the extra hands on this missions. Besides, you can see first hand how my men operate when we reach our destination."

He then frowned after pondering what she had said. A guild member selling out one of their own? He had a feeling in his gut that this was a trap. "Cataleya, do you not find it suspicious that someone affiliated with the target would just offer their assistance against one of their own?" He hated traitors. But he knew that something like this is never that simple.

*Simon offered his hand to Aldaris.* Nice to meet you lord Aldaris.
*He listened carefully to what the 2 had to say.*
We have no other choice but to follow this lead. Unless you 2 wish we continued to annoy the members of the guild. Perhaps we can locate the other guild member who is on the same mission. *Simon continued to walk towards a Carriage he had stopped* By the way Cataleya, it is not uncommon for guild members to take the same mission. Who ever completes it 1st gets the reword, unless it was a team effort. Anyways....Hold on dear.

*They both got on the carriage, and Simon told the man where they were heading. After Lord Aldaris got on, the carriage began to move, Simon continued what he was saying earlier.*

It has been quite some time since we last spoke, The prince and the elite guard keep me busy. How are things with you? Fine I hope.

(just a heads up, they have been keeping their story straight. she said theyre not angels like twice. lmfao.)

Gradually, the girl moved her horse to that of beside the orc, Barnabas moving to be beside his priestess. They looked out over the newcomer and the girl smiled with gentle greeting. Barny, on the other hand, hadn't looked so welcoming.

○ cataleya scarlette

Cataleya had to inwardly sigh a breathe of relief when she noticed Simon hadn't seemed insulted or angry by her decision of bringing a Lord on the Quest with them. Prince Malik didn't say that she couldn't bring company with her and more or less, she hadn't known Simon would be venturing with her as well. It was definitely the more the merrier, especially since it's been so long since she had well . . company with her on her missions. Perhaps. . it's nice to have a change of pace every once in awhile. At the same time. . this was a mission. . was a first mission from the Prince and not the King, hopefully the King was fine with it, considering she was His person. Nevertheless, Cataleya decided to think of the consequences later since she couldn't deny a Prince of his Orders. Nodding, Cataleya analyzed the Janissaries that Lord Aldaris had brought with him, keeping a light banter, " Never can part with your Janissaris, can you, Lord Aldaris? I'm quite interested in seeing how they operate . . it'll help me indeed know the technique of your soliders when the time comes for the duel to begin." Seeing the Janissaries' horses along with their standard gear and muskets, they looked as intimidating as they were quite bright and flashy. Cataleya couldn't help but smile at them, "It'll be nice working with the both of you." She spoke to them directly as she introduced herself politely in a business-like manner.

However, hearing Lord Aldaris' words and thoughts, Cataleya couldn't help but agree with him for more than one reasons. "I do find it suspicious, Lord Aldaris. However, it is the only lead we have. I don't believe the members of the Guild would sell out their own, but, perhaps they're bidding him time or making us go on a wild goose chase. Whatever the case may be, we have to take our chances." She softly said before walking towards the carriage. The wind around her grew stronger as she whispered softly under her breathe, though none of them could comprehend a word she said. "Wherever we wind up, the wind will carry us through." Cataleya said creptically before nodding at Simon. "Simon's right . . . I don't wish to annoy any of the guild members than longer than needed. The more time we waste trying to get a word out of them the further Slane has hidden."

As soon as she got into the carriage, Cataleya heeded Simon's words as she sat on the inside, balancing herself as the carriage began it's journey. Once Simon had explained the reason for why two members would take on a mission at the Guild, Cataleya began understanding slowly, "So, not only do they complete their mission but there's a friendly rivalry challenge that takes place too? That's quite motivation." Cataleya complimented. As she looked around the carriage, she noticed how bigger it actually was than seeing from the outside. "It seems. . there's more that meets the eyes, isn't that right, Lord Aldaris? Perception is quite a tricky little thing. . " She said in wonder before her attention went back towards Simon, smiling politely. "Quite a handful, isn't it, Simon? Are you taking care of yourself? I hope you are. As for me, well . . I got back from a mission a few days ago so I was quite unprepared for such events, including the banquet. Life's full of surprises so it's been quite a joy ride for me, honestly."

*The 5 foot warrior known as Dusa could sense Branabases unwelcoming feelings and took it as a hostile feeling. He made a front flip off the tree, heading towards the 3. As he landed, he caused a small crater to form under his feet.*

You have a problem with me? *He looked at Barnabas as he spoke. Turel stepped in front of Dusa, putting his hands up.*

Dusa, not now. Sway his respect through words, not violence.

I only ask a question, Turel.

*Dusa began to walk past them. Telling Turel; "Let's go". He then waited for Turel after walking 15 feet ahead of the 3. Turel looked at Vaidhurya and Barnabas.*

OK, fallow me. You can meet my brother when we get there and I'm sorry for Dusa.

"No need to apologize for something you can not control." She says lightly, flashing a sheepish smile toward the rather large man and followed suit on her horse, Barnabas trailing behind.

"Thank you." She says now.

*As the 4 Journey on, they begin to enter a section of the west called "Golden beach". This area is considered unexplored, as evident from the road cutting off a few miles back. After an hour or so, the 4 arrived at a beach. The sand was golden white and the water was crystal blue. One could see the sea life swim by. Turel began to speak.*

We're almost there. I hope you 3 enjoy the view.

They were quiet, both Vaidhurya and Barnabas as they treaded the sand on their horses. "I'm surprised," She says now, awing and gawking at the scenery, "That a place like this has yet to be ruined." The horses slowed their pace behind Turiel, and Barny immediately stopped. He spoke finally, after his delighted silence, "Have you seen such things, my Priestess?"

"Of course I have." Vaidhurya answered him as he began to straddle forward again.

*The Orc overheard the 2 talking, he was confused in why she would say that. Was it because she thought Orc went around ruining nature? Who had to know why she said that.*

Is there a reason why this place would be destroyed?

*As they continued to walk on the beach, the group saw a huge over pass. Under it was a gigantic cave. Lights could be seen escaping out of it.*

"Of course," She answers beyond his words, her own tone growing quiet. "It's human nature- to ruin everything."

As they got closer, Barnabas hurried by the priestess's side. His hand, again, readied on his sword, ready to protect her and give his life if needed.

*Turel disagreed. He did hate the humans, but he also knew that all living creatures caused destruction in there own way. As they neared the cave, He saw Barnabas overreacting. Turel stopped.*

Why are you getting ready for a fight? Do you not trust your coalition allies? Hmm, let me see the letter, please.

"Barny, calm." Vaidhurya persuaded him easily, the man nodding and releasing his grasp on his sword. His hands looped around the reins of the horse now. "Forgive him," She says now and reaches for the letter out of her satchel. She hands it to Turiel.
