I have not always been an anime fan... no, I used to be one of those people who saw anime as taboo and categorized those who watched it as a little strange. But one night, sitting alone in my room and searching for something to watch on Netflix, I came across a show called Attack on Titan. Frustrated that I couldn't find anything else to watch I figured I'd give it a shot. After binge watching the entire series in one sitting I discovered what all those "anime people" had enjoyed all along. The rest is history, I have been a avid fan of anime ever since. I guess you could say that Attack on Titan was my gateway drug into the world of anime. That's how I became an anime addict, what's your story???

We could say that I was an indirect anime fan since I was a child, because I watched Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon and InuYasha without knowing they were anime. It wasn't until later that a friend told me about Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist while calling them anime. At the time I didn't understand the difference between them and regular cartoons, but after watching Fullmetal Alchemist I realized how good the world of anime is, and how it can affect people in different ways.

I´m really thankful that I was introduced in anime with a masterpiece like Fullmetal Alchemist, because had someone tried to get me into anime by making me watch something like Highschool DxD, then today I would probably think that all anime fans are horny perverts.

Never watched AOT, and I don't know why.

Anyways, for me it's hard to really say because I have been influenced at different points in my life, but if we're talking about life changing moments..................

Full Metal Alchemists. Honestly, one of the greatest experiences ever. I was about 12-14 or maybe even younger, and I know I never watched the episodes in order, just whenever I could see them. Even at that age I was simply sucked in. The animation was mesmerizing, and the characters were amazing.

But then there is Bleach, that's another one that made me really enjoy anime, because all the weapons and fight scenes were awesome and at that age I didn't even follow the story.

Like I said it's hard to say, because even at my age now, I have watched more anime that I have now truly followed more than ever, like obsessed with it. I guess you can really say it was the anime of my generation, like Inuyasha, DBZ, FMA, Bleach, and ever since then I began to slowly follow it, until now I have almost made it a part of my life, and I accept that
