I live in the UK, but it detects it as the Faroe islands, which makes it so that there are alot of showes i can't see. I mean l like honestly whats the point of paying for something if you only get half of the fucking content.

If so, it isn't CR's fault. It's a problem with a geolocation database that your ISP needs to resolve...

A lot of it has to do with the depletion of IPv4 addresses. More populated countries need more, so organizations often end up obtaining them from other (usually less populated or at less connected) countries.

The number of available IPv4 addresses in four of the five regions has been fully exhausted since between 2011-2015. There will probably more and more IP address swaps occurring until IPv6 is more widely adopted.
