People have actually been faced with a problem similar to this. Not infinite but unable to stop. It stops being fun after awhile. It becomes agony.

It would not. Human bonding is part of the driving biological forces for sex (Ex. Release of Oxytocin). It is not just a matter of carnal pleasure. Humans associate and communicate through touch for a reason.

You can actually fuck up your child's genetics by not providing physical contact in the early stages. Physical intimacy is essential to human well-being.

That is why if one experiences distress when physically intimate it is a sign of disorder. The idea of neural stimulation will not replace it. Masturbation would have it if were so simple.

I'd say it is not a matter of degree rather than a matter of kind.

The best way of putting it is that sex is more than pleasure. We loosely denote the ambiguity of those 'feelings' as pleasurable. Pleasure is a subjective experience and rather immeasurable.

Undoubtedly, It is correct to say some will find certain experiences more pleasurable than others. However, it is impossible for simple pleasure to replace sex for humankind.

Sex is where you could define it as how much it is valued,
but like some have said it could be much more if you know how or got the "right" stuff.

Again you could "pleasure" yourself with other things if you get quite into it I guess.
Else its can be easier and better with sex.

there is this thing in the brain called the dopamine system. it is the brains pleasure button. sex is one thing that makes this incredibly active but so is eating your favourite foods or spicy foods. you can keep this active for so long before it becomes ineffective and you stop experiencing pleasure from what your doing. it's not just sex, it's pretty much anything you enjoy doing, some people will say they actually experience things "better than sex"

EDIT : quick Google says that dopamine is usually released in the brain for reward - motivated behaviour. the more specific chemical for pleasure is endorphins

Sex is pleasure, foreplay is pleasure, sweets and delicacies can also be pleasure.

Deep meditation that can take you to new heights, astral projection, remote viewing and out of body experiences is also pleasure.

All of the above uses your brain.

Check these out, like $300 or something when they come out but I have hopes it might help my tinnitus a bit, since vagus nerve stimulation helps relieve ringing.

Also, could pleasure become the norm? For some, would probably be addiction to some type of drug - but otherwise? Obsession?

No. Lel there's more to sex than the physical aspect. At least, of course, depending on who you partner with.

Fucking normie. You can get in 2000 button presses before you bang 20 people

This reminds me in the movie Surrogates , there was a scene where a group of Surrogates were stimulating themselves with a tazer-like device. Very odd now that I think about it.

I'd rather have a lower lover count, plus I wouldnt tell people how many people I've "banged" anyway.

Not everybody can have that.
