If any mods wanna tell us what it's like that'd be great too.

Probably a lot of analysis of data, intense processing and interpretation, always ready to detect and correct anomalies

A lot of responsibility and time being active on the job, monitoring threads and users' interactions, moving threads, locking and closing, keeping spam out, stepping in on occasion to be an example, to help guide conversation in a productive direction. A lot of responsibility overall, and keeping in communication with other mods. I bet it has its share of perks as well. You get to enjoy being a leader and have an opportunity to set a good example .Some like lorreen are active in the community more than others who work behind the scenes. They get to work at home, etc. Most are volunteers, but get free premium memberships, so I guess they do it out of love for the community. unless they're paid cr staff.

Here? probably decent, I've seen some anime forums that literary have many of their members banned every day, worse yet, gaming forums seem to be even harder to manage. But yeah, it's bothersome regardless, constantly being active, worrying about being accurate most of the time, dealing with decisions regarding sites, handling conversational discussions etc...
