What country makes the best horror?

Topic title is pretty stright forward I think.
What country do you think makes the best horror?

I've come to watch more horror than I can name, but I think overall JAPAN makes the best quality Asian horror. I've seen one reallllly good Chinese one so far. 2 really good S. Korean, but when it comes ot quantity and quality, Japan ranks one in my book. ;)

I should add I also don't like gory, splatter horror, I like super-creepy everyday horrors. And Japan just happens to specialize in that.
