So- nVidia just showed off their newest GPU's, featuring Pascal architecture, and I was wondering what everyone was thinking. To me, it's pretty crazy, Over Titan X performance for ~350? (GTX 970) Definitely gonna buy one (significant upgrade from my 280)

I'm going to see what the card partners put together before I pull the trigger on any purchases. I'm currently running SLI 980s (KINGPIN) cards so I'm not in any particular hurry.

However, based on what I've seen they should be very nice cards. But I haven't been hearing much about proper DX12 support.

I'd have to wait and see. I have 2 980s and the performance is fine for the stuff I am playing so unless it's a massive leap I don't think I need to upgrade right now. In ~6 Months they'll have TI versions anyway. Besides, I haven't seen much in the pipeline for triple a I am all that excited for.

Yea, if you have sli 980s I wouldn't see a reason to upgrade, but for me, my 280 doesn't really cut it and 370$ for > titan X performance, its a definite yes.

I'm thinking to replace my 970 GTX with 1070, curious to see performance comparison.

I'm excited to switch out my 780Ti's but I'm gonna wait for the 1080 Ti before buying a pair.

They seem pretty good, but in-game benchmarks will be important.

Although, the AMD Polaris cards coming soon will be cheaper (if only as powerful as a 390/390x at max), so I'll have to see.

I'm quite happy to wait and see what AMD offer with Vega next year...

If nothing else I hope AMD stay in business and that Polaris/Zen and their semi-custom stuff for consoles will keep them alive... An Intel/nVidia monopoly on computer component's won't be good for anyone... :/
We'll see..

I have a 980 TI which can be overclocked to 1.5 GHZ so I'm fine for now...I might consider the 1080 in case I want to run games at 4k....
