I do not discriminate against dog breeds. I love them all equally.

I'm pretty much open to most dog breeds. However my preference goes towards the bigger dog breeds: Bullies, Mastiffs, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, Great Danes, Boxers, etc.

I have a thing against PEOPLE who have fifi toy dogs and treat them like a very needy child.

Oh shit. I better say maltese shih tzu bichon frise or my dog will get mad and grumpy. I'm a firm lover of all dogs though.

I visited this thread just to see if you'd posted this here.

The best type of dogs are those which keep their distance from me (I'm allergic to them).

big intimidating dogs that are quiet for the most part and have a big scary bark they only use when absolutely necessary. (my dog lily tries to join in on conversations by barking very loudly in my ear)

Obviously I have a bit of a bias for German Shepherds, considering my first dog was a GSD-rottie-chow mix and my current dog's a purebred GSD.

For other breeds.. Hmm, I've always thought Corgis were adorable and the New Guinea Singing Dog is fascinating, given that it's somewhat cat-like and lives a very long time.

Newfies are also great dogs, but I'd never want to own one because their average lifespan is so short.

What about the less allergenic breeds like poodles, havanese, maltese, etc.?

I would say: Beagles. They are curious, cute, small and they are very friendly against humans and other dogs.
