Hey guys on crunchyroll so I need some advice on hiring a manga artist for my series that I finish writing. I already have a storyboard ready for it and met up with a artist who is willing to work with me. The only problem with me is the business side, I don't know what's the best price or proposal to send my artist for working on a manga, especially since he's currently living in Japan. So you know the currency ratio will change depending on the yen. I don't know if I should send him a contract or give him a flat rate every time. Hope you guys on the forum can help me out it will be really appreciated.

By the way, to prove how serious I am about writing my series, I have a website with most my stories already out for people to check out for purchase or for FREE. Website below.

Website Link.

Thanks again guys

You should find a professional who can help you with the logistics, like a lawyer, an agent, possibly another creator who has already done what you're trying to do, rather than random people on the Internet.

True, but most of them don't response back usually when I ask them they think I'm trying to recruit them. Which I think makes them nervous and they never response back.

This site http://www.fast-manga.com/ has tons of manga artists you may recognize and most give their rates. You may be able to figure something out there. Most list both Yen and USD prices so you can at least make a comparison of going rate in both countries.
