I don't know about motivation but after I eat a gas station hot dog I feel like I can do anything in the world.

Not on it's own. Discipline is just one aspect to achieving goals, here's my little thing:
Motivation - Now, tell me, if you were rewarded with a brand new PS4 AND Xbox One if you improved your grades, would you get good grades? You see, the more motivated, the more brain power is put in to something. Without motivation you won't achieve a goal.
Discipline - Of course, motivation on it's own won't do a thing either, you need the discipline to stay on your path until you succeed in order to achieve your goal, otherwise, you'll stray off-course and achieve nothing.

CR is social media, hence the forums.

No, discipline is something that everyone should have, it is not something that runs your life.

This is where you are mistaken.

Motivation is the key to achieving your goals, discipline is just a general mindset. Motivation raises your determination, and doing so increases your productivity. Being disciplined really only defines your personality and energy, Being motivated creates new found power, and it drives you to become the best that you can be.

Motivation is ultimately the key to success, and discipline is the key to respect.

The two go hand in hand. You need the motivation to start the process and discipline to see it through.
Without motivation, what´s your purpose for getting up in the morning?

And I don´t believe anyone can do anything without motivated reasons to do so. Cut the grass? Probably motivated by the fact that you don´t have to do that shit again until it grows out. Get up and go to work? Probably motivated by the fact that you earn money to support your lifestyle. If you don´t have motivation, you´re just a shell lying in bed not doing anything and eventually you´ll go insane or die.

Do you agree?

I think it's a balance of both to be honest, you need motivation to start your endeavors and discipline to see it through.

Well i have no goal so neither is needed for me but ill say this. You need motivation in order to work towards something and discipline to make it happen. They are sort of hand and hand you know? You can't really do without the other.

u can succeed without either of those though

there be a lot of people who "practice" cuz they find it fun to do so and end up doing em 4+ hours a day without really needing a plan or literally all day in some cases

If you like burning out, sure. Go ahead and try to stick hard to something without motivation.
