I don't like Trump either, but I figure if he abuses his power in any way, Congress would totally impeach him since he has few friends there.

Hillary has already committed multiple felonies, most recent one was her email scandal, and they won't even charge her with a crime.

Overall, it is a very sad state of affairs.

Trump will probably, very most likely abuse his power if he became president. Really, if he becomes president, I will not be surprised if he is impeached before his 4 year term is over.

I just mean, like others in this thread have said...Hillary is dishonest? Yeah. And? Typical of politicians and furthermore, Trump isn't just a liar, he really is a PATHOLOGICAL liar. He lies more than any other person I've seen run for president. He just lies so damn much.

You can switch out "Trump" for "Hilary" in this segment and it'd also be correct, near as I can tell. If there is a difference, it'd lay in Hilary escaping judicial persecution... And possibly for having worse skills in lying. Cameras are her enemy.

I broke the quotes earlier.

Worse skills in lying? Yeah, Ok. But Trump is a worse liar. Trump is pretty bad. I remember a segment on the news where Trump was responding to claims that he is prejudiced, and he replied, with absolute confidence "I'm not prejudiced. I'm the least prejudiced person you could ever find". Wat. Yes, politicians lie, but none make a claim like that. But Trump makes lies like that all the time. He never thinks twice about lying, no matter how grand and false his lie will be. He unabashedly and unashamedly lies. Most politicians say whatever it takes to persuade people, and then there is Trump, who just takes it to a whole 'nother level.

"I'm not releasing my taxes, because there's nothing bad in them you'd wanna see anyway!"

Don...that doesn't even make SENSE.

What, you mean steering every conversation to My Candidate Can Beat Up Your Candidate, just because they're so free-lance geeked-out over how their candidate is going to clean house against all the imaginary news-headline people that annoy them?
Nahh, nobody like that here.

I already have gotten cyberally beaten down by both Hillary and Trump supporters over why their candidate is right and everyone else should just stand there and soak in their wrongness.

The fucking Trump supporters on the other site I used to go to? I seriously lost friends over there because their views were so bad that they make the fucking Cousinfucker tow truck driver look sane. At least here, voters for both don't seem too bad.

I don't know... Hilary is the one lying about her role in getting people killed in Benghazi, and let's not get started on her compromising international security. I put that on "another level." Look at us; debating over which is worse.

No surprise, of course. Hillary is someone who is a felon. Her criminal actions in handling classified information, actions which are worse than any instance I know of, other than the deliberate leaking of classified material, and which has resulted in convictions/guilty pleas of people in the past, completely disqualify her for office. Any office.

Do you really want a President who can be blackmailed by all of our enemies over the content of those emails?

Comparing Trump's dishonesty to Hillary's dishonesty is like comparing a jaywalker to a 1st degree murderer.

Uh, I wouldn't be so quick with those guesses about who's the jaywalker and who's the murderer:
If we can believe, quote-fingers, "Lyin'" Ted Cruz, what Hillary can be "blackmailed" for ain't NOTHIN' compared to what they got on Trump's taxes.
You're throwing around old Bill Clinton "lying to congress" guesses?--I'm talking Scorsese material.
(Even though Trump only built midtown Manhattan skyscrapers and NJ casinos, and didn't sell toupees. Obviously.)

One might even theorize it could also be what's behind the sudden chilly buddy-buddying with Chris Christie, if one was in a suitably conspiracy theory frame of mind. But we won't know until a nice, fat juicy subpoena.

Politics of this aside; 'sock puppets' are a thing now. Basically either a bot net is created or teams of people control fake or alt accounts in order to pose as regular people on the internet. Companies will use them to defend the 'good name' of their product, political groups will use them to harass or drown out conflicting opinions, hate groups will use them to bully people.

The concept is basically this, say someone posts a youtube video that I didn't like. If I make a bunch of youtube accounts and have each of them leave comments on the video, I can discredit the video. One person saying, 'this sucks', just seems like a single jerk, but if that person can seem like a crowd, or movement, or better yet popular opinion they can sway actual public opinion.

Scary stuff, because it's literally everywhere. Even video game publishers will hire people to make sock puppets to friend people they term 'whales' (people with big wallets or poor spending habits) over Facebook in order to encourage the whales to keep spending and playing.
