So he was high (on back meds, of course), shot himself accidentally (while cleaning the guns, of course), and didn't report it till three days later (because he didn't notice, of course).

I mean, yeah, sooner than three days and they'd have been able to find out what he was really on.

I have a separated shoulder injury that I still have no idea of when or how it happened. I've also sliced the top portion of my thumb in half vertically before; the cut was clean through the nail and flesh. It was painless... my reaction was along the lines of "huh... that's not good." A month and some butterfly bandages later there was only a scar, healed up nicely.

The body can be weird like that sometimes.

My brother sliced off half his thumb on a meat slicer. He also said there was very little pain. When I first saw it I tried to stay positive but inside I was thinking, "Well, there goes half his thumb". All he did was wrap it in gauze. It grew back and you can hardly tell anything happened now.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm proud that we're a big cock. Make fun of this Marco Rubio.

Grew back!?! =0 I know that they can be sew (spelling?) back on, but grew back?! Like a lizard? :p

I heard this one guy that was working on wood shop and he got his finger cut off and he didn't even noticed till his friend pointed at it.. He was shocked and said he didn't feel any pain.. So he went hospital and the doctor put his finger back on.

Yes it grew back. I was surprised how well it healed. Not like he took off the entire half top though. It was a diagonal cut from the top-middle of his thumb to the bottom of the nail. Sliced off a whole corner. Maybe saying half is exaggerating, more like 1/4th. I think the lack of pain has to do with nerves being cut, but I could be wrong.

I once burned myself really bad across the entire back of my hand. The worst parts didn't hurt at all, because the nerves where killed; but the edges of the burn were extremely painful. That also healed up so you can't even tell it happened, although that area will break out into a rash in the summer if it's really hot/humid, or if I spend too much time with my hands in hot water. I've been amazed at how well the body can heal.
