Hey man don't even joke about that I live within spitting distance of the US border. And the uniform in my closet means I just can't move as far away as physically possible.

Better get started building that wall

Were not going to pay for it either.

It's the mindset of the population that's the problem. They are either ignorant to what they could have or they are content with a steaming pile of shit.

Edit: I take that back, a steaming pile of shit would be an upgrade... we have fossilized shit

I laughed when Fox started trying to huff Trump's rod after Trump won another state and Trump just pretty much said NOPE

It's hilarious because my company doesn't even have the things enabled yet (not that it even would matter honestly) and when people bitch about it I just outright tell them that even if it worked, it's no safer. We'd need chip AND PIN, not just chip and beonyourmerryf'inway. And literally none of them understand it because they don't understand technology. I swear there should be some sort of requirement in society that if you use something you should at least have mild competency about it. Drive a car? You should know how to change tires, change your oil, etc. Have a computer? You should know basic security and understand the components that go into it (it's not rocket science to build a PC after all). Have a credit card or some form of plastic card you swipe? You should understand the ramifications about using it and how (NOT SAFE!) it is in the USA.

Ugh.

Whilst the USA is just introducing PIN we've had contactless cards for some years now. Cheques have been extinct for a long time too. Sometimes we think of USA as 3rd world.
