I go for small walks often and go for hour long walks including jogging whenever I can get around to it. I've really slimmed down a bit.
I'm very out of shape. I've never been in shape.
I can jog all the way around the block and pretend it's a big deal. I can do 20 push-ups and act like that's also a big deal.
The thing is it's a pretty big deal for me to move my 5 foot 4, 208 lb body.

You have nice penmanship. What is a Russian twist?

Thanks!

A Russian twist is an abdominal / core exercise. You can do it with weight or without, and you can also perform the exercise either on a Swiss ball or on a bench. You essentially are "sitting" in a "V" position where your upper body is angled at approximately 145 degrees and your lower body is either flat or angled at maybe 30 degrees. At that position you simply twist your torso from left to right while keeping your abdominal region tight.

After having both knees replaced I was faced with being unable to do the exercises I
used to do. Rehab PT did nothing for stamina/endurance.
Then comes winter and a new problem showed up. The cold temps of winter are absorbed by the metal
in my new knees which cause pain to start in about 10 min. The longer I stay out the worse the pain gets.
No more winter outdoor sports for me. I'm lucky that I turned 65 and am able to join the YMCA for free.
I am now able to work on getting rid of 3.5 years of weight gain. It will be a long road to go but if I dont
I will have to accept being fat for life.

I've been pretty lazy for the last year. Planing on starting up with Muay Thai after exams are done and gettting in the grove again. Really need to work on my diet and fitness now.

I do short jogs every day, and I'm looking to involve more intense cardio into a bi-daily routine. If only I could lay in a liquid solution all day and diffuse my excess body weight through osmosis.

I am a construction laborer, so I exercise 5 days a week. Lots of lifting things and climbing ladders and stairs and scaffolding. I'm not muscular like people who spend a lot of time at the gym are, but I'm in alright shape. My cardio is way better than it was when I was a customer service rep, that's for sure.

What about you? What is your routine? Are you taking care of your wellness enough? Thanks.

I'm a really lazy person when it comes to different sport and exercises But for several months I try to make some yoga exercises every day, it's not so hard as some other sports and they make me feel really better Also I wanted to try smth new in addition to them so I started to visit the gym twice a week, I adore practising there using all that cool stuff like in this gallery. Always feel like a cool celebrity when I make exercises there!
I walk a lot too and besides I think that cleaning your house is also a good physical activity

No i don't work out and don't go for jobs or run. My job is very hands on always on my feet and involves plenty of heavy lifting and i like to walk everywhere. My diet isn't amazing it could be better but it could also be a lot worse i would say i am a little over weight but happy the way i am i could be a little fitter too but i am also the type that is a lot stronger then i look which also suits me.

Everyday except Sunday/saturday . What I do differs for the day. Monday/Tuesday I run a few miles other Wednesday/Thursday I work on upper body by lifting and doing pushups/situps (not too much I don't want to bulk up ew just want to stay fit) Friday I do core excercises.

Do to this my friends say thye find its akward that I try to live a healthy lifestyle yet still Smoke and rarely eat.
Which is true I forget to eat all the time and at most may drink a protein shake in the morning skip lunchs and skip dinner more than I should.
I spend two hours working out in the mornings before going to sleep because I work 12 hours on nightshift.
