Post Reply If you could solve one world problem, what would it be, and why?

You know. We could have just said disagreement. That would cause world peace.

Coupon Fraud. When given a whole stack of coupons that don't work because the items purchased do not meet the conditions is a problem....especially if it's refrigerated/frozen products.

I would end human stupidity. Making everyone smarter would solve a lot of problems, elections like this one would not happen, progress in tech and science would make huge bounds, school would finally stop catering to idiots, and human intelligence could advance at a good rate instead of idiots taking us all down.

Famine. That some people eat while others struggle to find even one meal a day is a depressing thought.

No one should die because of hunger.

People have a habit of harming each other as a matter of course without feeling much in the way of guilt. To solve this problem I would make it so that every time a human being intentionally inflicted pain (mental or physical) on another person with malicious intent, they would experience that same pain tenfold. Perhaps this would increase our sense of empathy.

Then you'll die. Why don't you just find another planet to live on instead?

That's the point! Nuke it all, solve all the problem. Nuke poverty, war, world hunger, terrorism, global warming and all the natural disasters. Let all the problems of the world be blown up into smithereens and we shall forever live as debris floating in outer space for eternity. Since our existence are so insignificant and meaningless, might as well go out with a bang........then, again this might just be me being cynical to cope with the fact that I'm a miserable piece of shit who long for the world to end.

I'd like to find the proper answer to explain King Crimsons power. I can guarantee that 80% of the worlds issues will be solved once we figure out how it works

Man's dependence upon himself rather than upon Jesus Christ, the only One Who can save his soul from his sin.

That nice little thing tidbit of information that was floating around the internet regarding how the cost of a some piece of military hardware could end world hunger... sadly not so. You can't simply throw money at this problem in that aspect. It's logistics, it's culture, it's time... all things that must be taken into account. One day, I'm sure we'll have the solution.

Sigh, just choosing one is very hard.

Curing addiction or mental illness would definitely be at the top of my list. Sorry I couldn't just choose one. Those two seem to go hand in hand in many cases and I just can't decide which one would be best to solve because I'd want to solve both of them.

Then again I would also love to be able to give people more empathy and that alone might solve all of the world's problems.

For what it's worth, I think addiction is a mental illness.
