I don't get why people are against this. It's an empowering photo of a woman choosing to do what she wants with her body, if that means an upskirt pic then so be it. Besides, she's modelling underwear for crying out loud. This is like theT racer butt controversy all over again.

It's an underwear ad... and if I had to evaluate it as an artist I'd say it was really well done too. A fine work, except for the text. That could use a different look.

So, nobody remembers the Calvin Klein "Pedophile" ads from the 90's?
(Warning: Possibly offensive suggested-content, and EXTREME unspontaneous attention-getting jerkdom inside)

Yes, these were actual ads (until they were banned, of course). Calvin Klein LIVES to deserve punches in the mouth.
And let's not even get started on the perfume ads, 80's SNL already went to town on those.

I can't say it's an ad that would convince me to buy the underwear, and I'm not sure I'd say it's even clear they're selling underwear if you removed the tagline or branding. That said, I don't think it's an offensive image given that the lady in the ad is clearly in on what's going on. If it were some sort of creeper upskirt picture then I would have an issue with it.

Now that would be a twist. If the top half of the image was as it is but in the bottom half there was some clear bulge action going on.

They're advertising underwear, and the model clearly consented to the shot. It's fine, to me. Would folks rather the model only wear panties and/or bra, like in most lingerie ads? I'm amused.

Unless you have X-ray vision, there's no reason to be upset. But there are guys posing in freaking fancy underwear and you can clearly see a bulge, so it's no different. And models wearing bikinis and Victoria's Secret are more "risque" than this. It's a double standard.

I've see they taken a page out of anime subculture, but where are the stripes?

I'm kinda hoping for this to become a running parody for a few Japanese artists, not gonna lie...
