If I ever wear panties like that it's only with the knowledge I'll be taking them off.
The wife isn't very approving of my habits.

I think it is no worse than any other underwear advert tbh, at least they're trying something new? I get why people might be mad, but underwear ads show women in underwear, so.......

So, nobody remembers the Calvin Klein "Pedophile" ads from the 90's?

Yes, these were actual ads (until they were banned, of course). Calvin Klein LIVES to deserve punches in the mouth.
And let's not even get started on the perfume ads, 80's SNL already went to town on those.

I don't get it. Admittedly I had the sound off so maybe they all say something offensive but aren't all those people in the ad adults? How is it offensive and what does it have to do with pedophiles? if I put the sound on will I find they're all singing "I'd like to teach the world to screw kids" like a fucked up version of the Coke ad?

Try it with the sound on:
It's an offscreen older guy who's filming buff street teens (mostly boys) in his basement, and asking them to take off their shirts for the 16mm camera. And then at some point, maybe they mention jeans.

While I'm sick of the "outrage culture" on the internet, that is more like a pic that would be in a softcore porn picture gallery than a Calvin Klein ad. People really need to stop getting so upset about these kinds of things, though. Too many people get offended too easily.

The actual Instagram campaign in question:

Did Calvin Klein...

- Really stepped over the line this time or

- Didn't do anything especially notable compared to all its other underwear ads or

- ???

It does have 43K likes so at least it wasn't universally panned.

Discuss.

I am not outraged and i feel it might just be creeping over the line a little i personally i think it's just a simple ad in poor taste and if it went to a vote to use it or not i would vote not to use it but that's just my humble opinion.

Well Calvin Klein already uses some pretty risqué photos and all of the women in the pictures seem to be agreeing to be photographed. So as long as the people photographed agree than I have no problem with it.

I'm outraged those aren't shimapan. How do they want to appeal to me as a customer if they don't show what I want? Bleh
