Manhwa seems to move even slower than manga's. Try Bride of the Water God. Beautiful art!

i prefer webtoons over manhwa.
i've been reading ALOT of webtoons over various official platforms where i can actually support the authors by visiting the website and even buy the webtoons.
Nowadays, the webtoons I'm reading are
4 cut hero
an eye for an eye
what does the fox say
trace
he does a body good
drug candy
my secret brother
cheese in the trap
something about us
midnight partner
huminal

If it's good, I'll read it. It doesn't matter what it's 'official' name is.

Read a few manwha and Korean webtoons and, while I'm not sure if I'm just choosing poorly or if they are indeed representative but, they have been much more melodrama heavy than your average manga.

Not only that they seem to have at the very least the threat of cuck if not full blown cuckolding be a more common theme among them. Little Girl (She is Young) was essentially how to stop cuck with time travel. That said I did enjoy it.

Never really came across many manwha CGDCT or sitcoms though which I'm sad about.

I thought it was just me. The melodrama is the main problem I'm having. My latest read is Que Sera, Sera and it seems to be pushing me away the more I read.

While I agree that is an annoying trend, not all of them are like that. Santa and Socks Goblin are both downright cute most of the time (some of the people in Santa have dark pasts, but those are told in short flash-backs).

Gyon-Woo & Jik-Nyu, Looking for a Father, and Unbalance x Unbalance are all fairly standard forbidden or unconventional love stories. There is some melodrama (that comes with the territory for a forbidden love story), but nothing worse than what is in a standard shoujo manga.
