Mythical entitled illegal immigrants?

Did you not see the Anti-Trump protests in CA? I did, and I came to two conclusions:
- the left is comprised of idiots
- It is getting very obvious that there is a feeling of entitlement for illegals under the lawless democrats.

The illegals are hurting any hopes for any type of legal status with their protests. Every protester who breaks the law or waves a Mexican flag as a political statement in favor of illegal immigration might as well be voting for Trump.

@peripheralvision Look again, I merely posted a picture with an identifying caption, you drew your own conclusions.

@originalstray My observation was based on that statistical anomaly, that's hardly a rant. Your rebuttal on the other hand . . .

Isn't calling Democrats "lawless" a bit of a strawman? Even if they allow sanctuary cities, States do not have control over illegal immigration. That is explicitly a Federal responsibility. As with most things you can choose to do more than you are responsible for.

As for Robert Byrd, Democrats were famously racist and extremely powerful in the south before the Civil Rights movement. After those events the Democratic party completely collapsed in the south and many became Republicans. Read up on the Nixon Southern Strategy. There are very real historical reasons why the south is so solidly Republican.

Parties change over time, so do ideals and what it means to be "Liberal" or "Conservative." Conservatives created many environmental protection laws decades ago, and now fight against those very laws where business is concerned. It is a fools errand to compare political labels through generations.

The federal government is overrun with democrats who show little interest in enforcing certain laws. Lawless is apt.

Given that the Executive Branch is responsible for enforcing laws for the Federal Government, I believe by overrun you mean one person being the President who is a Democrat? What laws exactly are not being enforced? I find it hard to believe that anyone leading a nation would believe in the fundamental breakdown of the rule of law.

More info for this poll.

Poll Breakdown. http://www.oann.com/pollnational/

Was produced for OANN which is like a mini Fox news.

I guess he should be congratulated on winning that pole, but I'm not sure the published numbers support the news article, I'm gonna assume they have the actual results because I couldn't find them published anywhere.

One person does not constitute overrun, revealing that you would make that connection.
And as I'm sure you know, what laws are being overlooked will be decided by SCOTUS, where it is currently scheduled.
And yes, the attorneys general of 26 states also found it hard to believe that a breakdown of law could occur.

Didn't you get the memo? Obama is a dictator. Unless its a weekday, then he's weak and ineffectual.

Grats on doing more work on this story than the "reporter" did.

So only 10% of respondents were Hispanic so the sample size is about 150. Conducted via automated calls, one of the least reliable methods, by a marketing firm with a poll accuracy rating lower than Fox News.

Seems legit. >.>

So...what laws are being overlooked? Only one Democrat is responsible, thus my confusion as to why you call it overrun.

And now you know why my beef is with Mexico and Spain and not the USA. Those La Raza cocks forget that they weren't here first.

These illegals hop a fence then demand to be citizens like they are entitled to be citizens. Its an insult to legals and it makes the waiting list for legals longer.

Who the fark are these mythical entitled illegal immigrants "demanding" things that you all keep ranting about? Most illegal immigrants keep their head down and work shit jobs that Americans won't do for Americans that are quite happily willing to look the other way for cheap labour.

They aren't here to try and bilk you of government freebies, they're here because you hire them. For jobs none of the rest of you will do. That's why the influx reversed during the economic downturn. It wasn't because their government gravy train dried up. It was because the work prospects were no longer better than their country of origin to make the trip worthwhile.

Christ almighty people, you have so many problems you could fix as a nation if you just asked "Why is this happening?" instead of "Who can we blame this on?".

Argh. ><

I didn't know I was hiring illegal aliens. Fascinating. Apparently I now employ illegals without knowing I hired them. I wonder what they do or how they are getting paid.

You're really going to pretend you can't understand the difference between figurative and literal "you"?

At least, I hope you are pretending.

I still don't figuratively employ illegals. You are just assuming that in some way I'm employing illegals.

He's actually assuming you're sufficiently fluent in the English language to know what he's trying to say, and sufficiently honest to admit it.

At least one of these things is apparently false.

I speak English not mind telepathy. I can't read minds when people can't English enough to write out what they mean.

I think it's more likely that collectively, we employ more underpaid Chinese workers than illegal aliens. And the Chinese are not here, but there.

Illegal immigrants are hired by the so called 1%. And as they they tend to lower the market value of labor, they're actually detrimental to low income Americans. So by my reckoning, those who defend them must have some skin in the game.
