I never even learned anything past basic algebra because I neglected school like it was my job. Now that I'm older I wish I hadn't been so careless as a kid, I would love to just know my periodic table and math. Too bad I dropped out. Rip

I love math, it's one of my favorite things. I especially like applied math (AKA code,) but I still like strait algebra and calculus.

Why are logarithms hard? Just know that log_x(b)=y or x^y=b.. Its just another way of saying x to what power y equals b. Generally x will be base 10 on most calculators but you can have any base power. The more useful formula of logathrims is changing the base power where you can find Log_10(5)= Log_2(5)/Log_2(10)...this formula is very useful. As always practice makes perfect. You will soon learn math so enjoy it.

I've always been really good with math. In middle school, math got boring because they were reteaching us what we had learned the previous year. I complained enough to my mom that she talked to the school and I skipped a year. Then, as a junior in high school, I took the highest level math class that was offered (Ap Calculus) and opted to take the Calculus 'BC' AP test (covers Calculus 1 and 2) at the end of the year. I completely forgot that I chose this option and only studied a week for the Calculus 2 part. I got a 5 (best score you can get) on both parts. Then, because there was no more math classes for me to take, I did PSEO (go to college early) as a senior in high school. That year I took Physics 1 and 2 and took Calculus 3. Then, when I went to college and signed up for Calculus 4, my math professor sent me an email before school started asking if I was sure I was in the right class. I went into Computer Science and stopped needing math classes, so I stopped taking them, but since I have extra time before I graduate, I'm going to get a math minor for fun.

(Sorry, I like never get to brag so I wanted to go all out )

Math that you can apply to some other field isn't too bad. Abstract math on the other hand is a headache. It's a struggle to even figure out what you are learning, much less learn it.

planes are indeed complex. how do they fly? some say it's due to airdrag, but we all know it's magic. dark magic.

I'm decent at standard math, algebra, geometry and trigonometry but suck at Calc. I want to remedy that Calc situation some day.
